We are looking for a recast for one of the main male roles, Mahiro. We are also continuously looking for extras, whom without, this project will not be able to be completed, so I encourage you to please audition for an extra role. Hello everyone. I decided to start a project a month or two ago which was to fandub an anime. I found one that hasn't been fully done before and is really interesting called Blast Of Tempest or Zetsuen No Tempest. I've currently completed the first 2 episodes in terms of editing sounds etc so I'm now looking for some voice actors. This will be a long term project as this anime has 2 seasons both with 12 episodes. I eventually plan to do them all if this all goes to plan. I expect anyone who auditions for a character to stick with it until the end, knowing that this project will take a while, but it will be worth it! This currently isn't a full-time thing for me and is a project I'm working on in my spare time so there will be no payment for voice actors. Everyone who contributed will be put in the credits.
Requirements:
1. Must have discord - This will make it easy to communicate with everyone at once. Please put your discord name in the description of your audition.
2. Must be dedicated - As stated previously, this is a long term project so it will take a while.
3. Must have good mic quality - Just needs to be fairly clear and not have too much static, can't have background noise.
4. Patients - This goes with the dedicated one, as I said before, I'm working on all the editing and scripts etc in my spare time which sometimes I won't have much of, so please be patient.

Yoshino is one of the main characters in the anime. He isn't the smartest person but seems like a nice guy.
[Aika saying it was Yoshinos fault that they got into a fight.] “What?! I’m a victim! I was dragged into Mahiro’s mess, so...”
[The realization that Yamamoto could be talking about Mahiro] “Mahiro had a younger sister. If he saw someone resembling her, he may not have been able to leave. He treasured Aika more than anything.”
Mahiro is quite cocky and laid back, which can be quite funny at times, but he can also be quite angry. He's also quite stubborn, will do anything to find his sisters killer. It's a hard character to explain as they have so many sides the more you watch the anime. Mahiro wants to avenge the death of his sister. [Mahiro explaining whats going on] “She mentioned it too...It’s magic. The family that’s using it has this moronic ambition in order to gain greater power, they’re trying to awaken something that must never be awakened.
[Angry] “...the task force hardly does anything anymore. There’s no chance this case will move forward. It’s absurd! It doesn’t make sense”
[About to knock someone out] I like your spirit...but for now, take a nap!
Hakaze is a powerful mage, sent away to a deserted island as to not interfere with her families evil plans. She is working with Mahiro to try stop the world from ending.
“It is Samon after all. I’m sure he raised a barrier to render the island invisible which means I won’t be able to seek help from the outside. A lonely island in the middle of the ocean, huh? But Samon! You’d best watch your back! I am Hakaze Kusaribe, the strongest mage ever born into our clan! I will put an end to your ambitions…
“Even though the island is concealed, the ocean is still connected to the rest of the world. The communication method used by oceanographers and castaways: the message in a bottle. Even on a deserted island, I can find a bottle among the driftwood. Once I cast my message out to sea, I just had to hope the right person would find it. It seems I have some good luck after all. Samon, even in my underwear, I’m still pretty tough.”
Mahiro's sister and secretly Yoshino's girlfriend.
[Annoyed at Yoshino] “Are you stupid? If you’d left him, with no chance to win, Mahiro would’ve run as well. Acting like a victim now is even worse."
[Annoyed and blaming Yoshino for something] “Everyone says it. If Yoshino Takigawa didn’t exist, Mahiro Fuwa would’ve been killed or arrested by now. You’re responsible for that. This is all your fault."
[Just read Aika's lines. Yoshino's are there for context]
Aika: "Kiss"
Yoshino: "Huh?"
Aika: "Why don't we kiss before the summer ends?"
Yoshino: "Uh....well..."
Aika: "Not here though. Since it's our first time, we should think of a good place to have it. Any idea?"
The main antagonist in the anime, head of the Kusaribe clan.
“On that island, she’ll be unable to acquire offerings she requires to use magic. In that situation, the princess is no different than an ordinary girl."
"mmm?"
"Yes, she will perish on that island."
A strong member of the Kusaribe family. Preferably a deep voice for this character. He's quite mysterious as this is the first character we see using powerful magic.
“Samon sir. I’ve met a boy who hasn’t been metalized at a site where fruit has appeared. It appears he is able to use Kusaribe magic.”
“I see. That was a perceptive answer...where did you learn that magic?"
Initially looking for Mahiro, she is a volunteer investigator for the government
“Oh, excuse me, I am Evangeline Yamamoto, but my friends call me Fraulein Yamamoto. Unemployed, 28 years old. I’m not a shady character."
[realizing Yoshino was in love with Aika] “A year ago? That’s when Mahiro Fuwa’s sister...”
Part of the Kusaribe clan. He's been sent to capture Yoshino and Mahiro to try and stop them from interfering with their plans.
[intimidating] I see you have not lost your sharp tongue, it's a shame I can't see your true beauty in person.
If they come quietly, thing's won't have to get violent. Not to mention, if you had just listened to Samon in the first place, these two wouldn't have had to get involved.
He's a bit of a strange one xD Seems to like Hakaze a lot, when we first meet the character he thinks Hakaze is dead. Seems a little creepy but talks like a normal person.
To think, that she thought this far ahead, how unfortunate for you. She used to be a cute little kid that wet her bed.
I haven't touched it since I received it, so it shouldn't be broken.
Did you want to light some incense before you go?.......For Hakaze. You two didn't know she died?
This character appears in the first episode. Whoever does this role may be able to play another extra depending on their voice acting capabilities.
Samon sir. Will this really be enough to keep the princess away?
Looking for any type of generic bully voice. In need of 2 different voice actors for this, one for the main bully and another for one of his crew.
"Yoshino! All by yourself, eh?"
“That was too easy”
“How much is in there?”
“He’s got quite a bit”
"Let’s go to the arcade then!"
*Laughing*
This character appears in the first episode. As seen in the role's title, this character is a teacher. Whoever plays this role may be able to play another extra depending on their voice acting capabilities.
"Yoshino, have you heard anything from Mahiro?"
“How can you say that? I suppose if his old friend is talking that way, he must be all right. But he suddenly quit school and disappeared. And you know that kid. He seems like the kind who’d cause enough trouble to make the papers.”
They appear in multiple-episode giving the news.
"The Defense Force’s recent large-scale drill simulated the protection of remote islands. The Ministry of Defense says that this drill included the new Type 10 equipped with a C4I system to facilitate intelligence sharing"
"Let’s check out this weeks-"
We need at least 3 people for these roles. The same people could also play other extra roles of background noise/gossiping etc in later episodes.
“Hey, do you think Yoshino is cute?”
“ I guess so. Without Mahiro around he’s just a normal guy”
“But he looks so cool. Why don't you go for it?
“Because rumour has it, he has a girlfriend.”
“Huh?”
“Whahhhhhhhhht?!”
“Was he talking to us?”
“Who does he think he is?”
“Does he think he’s better than us?
There are many other extra roles which haven't been listed including; a group of singing kids, multiple old characters, army soldiers, background chatter, city folk etc. If you're interested in playing an extra, please message me on discord (Harpixel#1953).
