Black Bullet Abridged Episode 2 (RECAST)
Project Overview
Hello everyone and welcome to the casting call. The original Voice Actress for the role of "Sumire Muroto" hasn't gotten in touch with me for several months now, and with the project being almost a year old, I figured I would have to finish sometime soon. The reason I took so long to recast was that I was busy with college, leaving me little time to focus on editing, which is why I allowed a lot of leeway for them.
This is a continued series that will parody the original "Black Bullet" anime, taking a more comedic approach to an otherwise darker anime.

Things to note:
Audio Quality: If you watch the original episode, you'll see that audio quality wasn't much of a concern. HOWEVER, to make it a better parody for the future, audio quality will be a factor when it comes to casting. A Blue Yeti, XLR mics, and better willl be enough. As minimal background noise as possible (none preferred), and try to avoid the usual popping, clicks, puffing and other noises that may occur in voice acting.
Multiple Takes: Multiple tries of a line will let me see how much you can bring the character to life with just your voice. It will also affect scripting as I may end up preferring your version of the line over how I originally thought of it.
Voice References: I am in no way saying that you must be a "copy" of the original voice actor (of the official dub), but the original's voice reference will be included if you're unsure as to where to start.
Feedback: If you are looking for feedback, please say so, either as a note when you submit the audition (I wish they could've implemented that part sooner) or as a comment on your audition.
Language: YES, THERE WILL BE SWEARING, ADULT THEMES, and similar things of that nature. Please acknowledge that before auditioning.

Dr. Sumire Muroto is a genius who had the brilliant idea to....wait I can't say that, it's a spoiler.
She is considered the "greatest mind" in Japan and has been a guide for Rentaro (the protagonist) since he was young.
Her character in the anime is one that's very playful, mischievous, and wise. She is also very blunt.
For the abridged series, you'll be making a LOT of sexual innuendos, much more than how she was in the anime, so look forward to that. You may also break the 4th wall on occasion.
(playfully/teasing) "Of course. You know how I love hearing you scream".
(playfully/teasing) "It's a shame. Corpses make such good cuddle buddies, but they don't make any noise."
(slightly stern/nagging) "But your 'friend' was hardly salvageable. I WOULD have liked to examine some of the major organs or the brain, BUT NOOOO~, you just HAD to destroy the whole thing".
