Project Overview
“Several years after canon events, a group of ex-super soldier Matoran try to make their way through a world scarred by war while simultaneously trying to prevent any others.”
The Lego line BIONICLE was well-renowned for its deep and complex lore and storytelling. I want to continue this trend of astonishingly deep storytelling with a TV-quality YouTube stop-motion series that takes influence from Breaking Bad, Red vs Blue, and various dystopian future sci-fis. The fandom has matured since the line's debut in 2001, and I want this series to have matured with them. After all, the aforementioned influences don't fit well with something more aimed at kids.

Music has always been important to my filmmaking. I need someone who can listen to what I need for a certain scene and enhance what said scene is portraying. You know, like a music composer does, in non-essay-like terms.

While I'll be the head writer for the series, I found I work better as a writer when I have someone to bounce ideas off of. Familiarity with Bionicle lore is preferred, but not required.

An important part of this series is the look. I want to be able to add 3D assets to the faces of the models in captured footage, to increase nuanced visual storytelling. Anybody who is willing to help out with this is welcome.
