This comic is super cute and cozy (it's on Webtoon) and yessss I got permission from the author. If you like some cozy fairy tale vibes you'll love it.
Synopsis:
Welcome to the Kingdom of Mosscarya, life is cozy, the mushy people are lovely and you can rest on a leaf! Everyone is welcome! Short comics of the adventures of a Mushy named Manny Muscaria.
I opened separate auditions for characters that appear a lot and "extra" auditions for allllll the bugs/animal/people of Mosscarya.
If you like doing weird silly voices I encourage you to audition for the bugs/animals since there will be A LOT and they can really have any type of voice.
ANY CHARACTER CAN HAVE ANY ACCENT (it's a fantasy world, it's open to everything :3)
The comic is still ongoing but the idea is to start dubbing it during October and start posting on youtube in November.
While there are many characters in general, usually there aren't many per chapter. Some chapters just have 2-3 people, so no one will be too full of stuff to record. It'll be a simple fun project :3
And of courseee, I hope that when I monetize the channel I can pay everyone for this and future projects \o/

He is one of the humans who guards the forest. Manny thinks he's a giant (that's just because Manny is too small). He is kind, understanding and very chill (for example, Manny kept calling him by the wrong name at the beggining but Alder's just "it's fine, don't worry about it").
You see, I am a forest keeper. I make sure all the creatures and plants are well.
But we're not giants... You're just very small.
You call me Adler, my name's Alder. I didn't know how to bring it up. It's really fine Manny. No feelings hurt!
Male, around 17-19 years old.
Manny's older brother who is going to become king. He is more serious and super focused on his future king duties. While Manny goes on adventures, Jeffrey is more "uptight" but inside he's also a bit jealous and wishes he could be like that too.
Be respectful it's an important day for the three realms.
As a prince we are the example. We offer it to anyone no matter how big or small. We help those in need.
I lie! I was so scared! I can't be king on my own! I need my little brother! Y-You make things feel less scary!
Manny and Jeffrey's father. Even though his name wasn't said yet, he's an important character.
Looks around 60 years old.
He is the king of Mosscarya. He's nice, focused on preparing Jeffrey to be king and explainin how a king must be. And he has a pet snail (kinda like a dog).
Manny, my boy. The throne belongs to your older brother Jeffrey. (this is a funny scene because Manny is talking to him about not wanting to be king, and the father is like "yeah you aren't supposed to be anyway")
A snail like no other! Who's a good boy? Yes, you're a good boy! You're a good boy!! (they have a little pet snail)
Female, around 15-20 years old (don't worry much about how age works for their species, think about how she looks).
She has a crush on Manny (and he has on her too) and she is also a teacher in the kingdom of Muscharia. She is super sweet with everyone and a bit shy around Manny.
You've scared me little one. You mustn't run off to meet strangers. (talking to one of the kids from her class)
Now, now, children. Behave yourselves. One at a time please.

Well, there will be A LOT of bugs and other animals. So you can leave your demo reel here OR record a few lines. I'll cast many people to distribute where the voice fits better. Some animal characters are in multiple episodes. For now I won't specify HOW the lines should sound because it's not an audition for a specific character so it's okay to do how you feel it shoud be :3 you won't necessarily get the character that says that specific line. Play around with weird voices too if you feel like it.
That is because I observe and listen, I watch everyone and everything around me.

Like the bugs/animals there are some Mosscarya people. This is a separate casting because it's mostly human voices. Also mostly kids and young voices BUT sometimes there are older extras so there's a place for everyone :3
You can leave your demo reel here OR record some lines. You can try many different voices but mostly human like, if you prefer making weird caricatural voices (is this a word in English? XD) you can try the bugs/animals audition.
