Berserk Abridged Episode 1 (ONE PAID ROLE)
Project Overview
Hello everyone! Today I bring you a project that I'm certain you will want to be apart of! I am starting a Berserk abridged series. I few things before we being. This will be an abridged series of the 97' anime because the movies have way too much CGI and the 2016-2017 anime is.....well I'm sure you already know. I have a few requirements for this project that should get you the role, should you choose to audition. I aim to make this as professional looking as possible so production will take time but the end product will all be with it in the end. A little background on me:I have been editing for years. I use adobe productions such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. I'd like to think I'm pretty well versed in editing and could deliver my part in this project. I am also really passionate about Berserk. I have read the entire manga and watch all of the anime. So I have a pretty good knowledge of the story.

Mic Quality: I am very sorry but I am going to require you to have a pretty decent microphone. No background noise,no echo,no clipping, and certainly no laptop mics.
Vocal Quality: As I stated before this is not going to be a mediocre project therefore, I cannot accept mediocre voice acting. I am not trying to sound rude because I respect all voice actors in all forms but I need experienced voice actors so we can give the best product possible. I need very expressive and technical voice actors. There will be screaming for some voice actors so you will need to be uninhibited while screaming.
Voice Actors: I need people who I will be able to reach consistently. If you don't believe you will be available a good majority of the time then I would suggest not going through with the audition. One of the worst things as a project organizer is not being able to reach voice actors. If you are busy and have an outside life (Like most of us do) I COMPLETELY understand. However,If I try to contact you and you don't respond for 2 or more weeks, that wont work at all. You also need to be able to work well with other voice actors. There is no need for unnecessary drama or arguments. We are all trying to work through a common goal.

This is fully grown Guts. He adds a bit of narration to the beginning. Guts is a hardened killer that loves nothing more than to swing his sword and get into battles. There will be multiple scenes of Guts screaming very loud and with a lot of emotion, especially towards the end of series. I need these to be on point.
Edit:I changed one of the lines due to not being able to gauge VAs correctly. I also changed Guts to a paid role.

Griffith is the leader of the band of the Hawk. He has a God complex and sees himself higher than others. His voice is very soothing and soft. He never really loses his cool and is always calm and collected expect for a few select times.

It is a great sword. A bit much for me though.
Corkus is really cocky and his voice is a bit nasally and high pitched, almost comedic in nature. He comes off as annoying at most points. He has a dis-likable personality.
Woah. He killed Bazuso. I thought you would have to take care of him yourself, Griffith. You think he's stronger than you?

This is Guts as a child. He does not have any speaking roles in the first episode. He is only sparing with his father, Gambino. He is aged 5 so it would be recommended that a woman audition for this role or if you are male and can make your voice high enough I'm sure that would suffice.

This Guts a few years older. It says "Teen Guts" but its more of Guts around the age 11 to 12 but it was the easiest way to differentiate the two. He's still young so I don't anyone with an overly deep voice. He's still a bit innocent as well.

In this world, is the destiny of mankind controlled by some transcendental entity or law? Is it like the hand of God hovering above? At least it is true that man has no control; even over his own will.
Gambino is Gut's adopted father and is a ruthless parent. He's not really the loving and caring time. Only has time for war. His voice needs to be very deep and intimidating.
Remember the formation and keep your eyes on the prize men!

Bazuso is a warrior that also has a deep voice and is really cocky and arrogant. I don't have a voice in mind for him in particular so I would love to see what you come up with vocally.
