Before - Student Animation Short Film
Project Overview
Hello everyone,
This project is for a student animation film that will be computer generated. The working title is "Before" and is about a young male whole travels to his home country of Cambodia to visit his grandfather. Not understanding why his grandfather doesn't want to return to America, he is shown the beauty of his home country.
The length of this film is 2 minutes and requires two characters. Each will be paid $5 USD
- Elderly Asian Man
- Young Adult Male
A music composer is also need for the film who will be paid $15 for and Asian / Traditional Cambodian-style score.

Aiden is an Asian American male who visits his grandfather in Cambodia to understand why he moved and doesn't want to return.

The grandfather, Sammbath, moved from America to his home country of Cambodia. In the short film, he shows his grandson why he loves his home country.
Note: The Accent doesn't necessarily need to be Chinese as long as it's something along the lines of it.
Before I had to leave the country because of the war, I took a look at this temple. It was my last sign of hope before immigrating to the US to ensure my family a good future.
Living in the US made me miss Cambodia every single day. Now that you’re here, I hope you see the beauty in the country that I love so much. To know my Cambodia.
Interested in looking for a music composer who is capable of creating an Asian-inspired score. More heavily influenced by Cambodian traditional music with a mix of creative freedom.
