"Beauty and the Beast" - A Minecraft Roleplay
Hello everyone! I'm SuperRayMC, a YouTube roleplay creator with more than 21k subscribers! I'm in the process of producing a modern musical Beauty and the Beast mini series.
I will be voicing the character of Belle, but every other role (original or from the movie) will be open to audition for!
Feel free to audition for as many roles as you'd like!
You will need:
- Reliability (sending lines in on time)
- Clear microphone (or as clear as possible)
- Method of sending recordings (preferably Skype or Discord)
- Brief knowledge of the original Beauty and the Beast movie
The start of production is unknown at this point, but I update those who are casted!

Gaston is the hero of this small French town. He is a physically strong playboy and leather jacket-wearing motorcyclist who has his eyes on one girl in particular -- Belle. She denies his love for her, but Gaston refuses to give up. He's desperate to marry Belle at all costs.
(flirtatious) Maybe we could have some time to start with our blossoming relationship as well.
(angry) I can’t believe she rejected me just like that. No one says no to Gaston.

LeFou is Gaston's best buddy and the show's comic relief. Although LeFou teases his friend quite often, he goes along with Gaston's plans and tries to cheer him up when he's down. That is, until plans suddenly go too far.
(confused) Belle? Really? She’s so book smart and you’re... more about the brawn than the brains, if you know what I mean.
(urging Gaston) Man, you’ve got to pull yourself together. It’s so strange seeing you this way.

Lumiere is a worker in the Beast's castle. Under the curse, he (she if a girl is casted) is now a candelabra, but that hasn't stopped his love for singing and dancing. When Belle arrives, Lumiere urges the Beast to earn her love.

Cogsworth is a worker in the Beast's castle. Under the curse, he is a clock. Cogsworth often attempts to stop Lumiere's tricks, but his tries usually don't work. He eventually warms up to the fact he may become human again due to Belle's unexpected visit.
(angry) Lumiere, when the master finds out about this --
(sadly) That’s none of your worries. There’s nothing you can do to help anyway.

Maurice is Belle's cooky old inventor father (mother if a girl is casted). He doesn't always know his left from right, but he cares for Belle and would do whatever he can do help her, including recruiting Gaston and LeFou to save her from the Beast.
(scared) He’ll take you too! You need to leave!
(determined) Belle is still out there! Who knows what that Beast could be doing to her!

Mrs. Potts is a worker of the Beast's castle. Under the curse, she is a teapot. Mrs. Potts is very motherly, especially since she has a son of her own, Chip. She helps Belle adjust to living in the castle, and supports the girl's new love for the Beast.
(cheerfully) If you ever need anything, let me know. I’m always here to help.
(sadly) It seems you need some time to yourself, dear. I’ll leave you be. Come along Chip.

Chip is Mrs. Potts son (daughter if a girl is casted) and was in the castle when the curse happened. He is now a teacup, although he is naive and falls for tricks easily. When Belle arrives at the castle, he has hope she will break the curse; he enjoys her company.

(laughing) That tickles.

Madame Bouche is a worker of the Beast's castle. Under the curse, she is a wardrobe. Madame Bouche is excellent at fashion, and designs Belle multiple beautiful dresses. She also sleeps very often.
You must have travelled far and wide to get here! Your clothes are dirty and... might I add not the most fashionable.
(exaggerating) Don’t mind my bragging, but I’m the best designer around!

Claudette adores Gaston and sees him as a muscular brute and a hero. She despises Belle for taking away Gaston's attention, and is the meanest of the trio.
(condescendingly) She can’t be that pretty considering we don’t see her face beneath that book.

Laurette follows behind Claudette's lead but isn't in love with Gaston; she has her eye on someone else. She acknowledges Belle for being intelligent and beautiful and wants to be friends with her. The others tease her about this.

A kind nun from the town's convent. In secret, she is a magical enchantress. Simone has always been kind to Belle and respected her intelligence and bravery. She takes over as the narrator in the first episode.
The Prince tried to apologize, but it was too late, for she had seen that there was no love in his heart.
As the years passed, the Prince lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love a Beast?

Madame Livre is the town's oddball artist, but she also owns a collection of books which she allows Belle to borrow. Livre is wise and helps Belle with advice. Besides Simone, she is the only one who supports Belle and her father when Gaston goes to attack the Beast.
