Project Overview
Ban the Bird is, at its core, meant to be a fun episodic cartoon series. It follows our two main characters, Berkeley and Piper, as they attempt to climb the social ladder and gain enough popularity to become student body president, and ultimately replace their school’s incredibly ugly mascot before graduation. While their overarching goal is to eliminate the pelican mascot, each episode focuses more on them getting themselves into ridiculous situations as they go to increasingly drastic lengths to prove each other wrong.

Berkeley is a very determined individual, he’s got goals and they’re BIG! He gets excited and animated when talking about his ambitions. He cares about what people think of him but he does not show it and pretends he doesn’t. He’s a hard worker but misunderstands tasks, leading him to frequently face devastating consequences for his actions. Rest assured, he is the kindest soul with good intentions, but can come off as rude or insensitive when he means well.

Piper is determined and analytical. She thinks of every possible outcome and goes for the one that takes the least amount of effort. This doesn’t mean she’s any less determined, she’s just smarter about her ways of moving forward. Even when it comes to walking she’s rolling on wheels, the cavemen invented them for a reason! Although when she gets in the heat of the moment, all logic goes out the window and her only goal is to win. She is sarcastic but isn’t cold, You know she really cares.

Cellphone Marigold is a character that is unbelievably confident in how cool he is. He is so strong in this belief that it has manifested into reality. He is aware of how cool he looks to everyone else so he larps being gangster, and gave himself the name Cellphone Marigold because he thought it sounded cool (and because he thinks that, it now is). Despite trying to act tuff, he's a super chill dude and kind soul at heart. For his voice try to make him sound like he is trying to sound really chill and non cholent

Martin is the unluckliest man alive. Due to a series of unfortunate events he has been cursed since birth with the worst luck imaginable. If something can go wrong for him, it will. Due to his un-ending misfortune, he's taught himself to just go with the flow, making him a super mega chill dude.
