Baldur's Gate 3: Voiced Protagonist Concept Video
Project Overview
Hey everyone! I'm looking for some female voice talent for a project I'm working on, which by the title I'm sure you've already guessed the point of.
Full disclosure: I am NOT saying that this is going to be implemented into Baldur's Gate 3, unless some modders are able to work some magic. This is simply a proof of concept to see what a voiced protagonist during the game's cutscenes would be like, as this has been a major point of contention among the fanbase during Early Access. To put it simply, I'll provide you with some voice lines of dialogue from the game, and after you record them, I will process them and edit them into a video where the audio is synced up with the conversation on-screen. There will be no lip sync with the in-game models obviously, but this is just meant to be a rough concept of what it might be like. I'll be posting the video on YouTube, Twitter, etc, and who knows? Getting the video in front of Larian Studios could lead to something, but I'm not at all guaranteeing that possibility.
As to what I'm looking for, I need either a single female voice talent who can provide a few different voices and accents, or multiple who can do them individually. All of the lines are for the custom created player character, but for a few different races and classes so we can get different styles. Please feel free to audition for either one or all of the available roles, whatever suits you best!
The male voiceover has already been covered, so I apologize in advance to all the male voiceover talent out here. I may do another one of these videos, so I've opened up a Male Player Character role so you can audition there. That way when the next video comes around, I can just reach out to you directly as opposed to having you audition again. Just use any or all of the other characters' audition lines for these.
Each role will vary in length, but realistically we're only looking at around 10 or so lines of dialogue for each one, as each role will be part of a different conversation/cutscene.
Compensation will be paid via PayPal once I've received your lines and verified that they fit and are of a good sound quality, and you will be paid for all of the voices you are cast for, so if you are able to provide a great, varied performance for all 3 roles, then be sure to audition for all 3 roles if you'd like.

Hearty, not too light, though. Friendly tone. Scottish or Irish accent preferred, but will take anything that's done well. Feel free to use multiple takes if you can do more than one accent, but please record them in ABC/ABC/ABC format if doing so.
Gale: "Last I saw you, you were lying in a crucible's worth of blood, an intellect devourer nibbling at your ear. Glad to see my eyes deceived me. I'm Gale. Well met!"
Brynja: "Well met, you were on the ship as well, I presume?"
Gale: "The very same. A traumatizing experience - if an instructive one."
Brynja: "By trauma, I suppose you mean the thing they put in my eye."
Gale: "I assume you're no accomplished healer either? I powerful cleric, maybe?"
Brynja: "Look, is this a conversation or an interrogation?"
Studious, highly inteligent, but not pompous. Caring to a degree, but also very matter-of-fact and practical about the situation at hand. A mild English accent works here.
After helping clear out a group of goblins who attacked the druid grove, you meet Zevlor, leader of the tiefling settlement within the grove.
Zevlor: "Whatever your business, I'd see to it quickly - The druids are forcing everyone out. This attack will only strengthen their resolve."
Lyra: "Those goblins - Have there been many attacks like that?"
Zevlor: "We can't stay, but we'll be slaughtered if we leave. We're no fighters."
Lyra: "This ritual - Is there no way to convince the druids to stop it?"
Zevlor: "Perhaps you can persuade them. For more time to prepare, if nothing else."
Lyra: "I have my own concerns. I need a healer."
Snarky, sultry, mischievious. English accent, the kind of person who would seduce someone one minute, only to stick a knife in their back in the next if it meant getting ahold of their wallet.
Astarion: "There, in the grass. You can kill it, can't you? Like you killed the others.
Vyrren: "Kill it yourself - you look capable enough."
*Astarion pulls a dagger on you.*
Vyrren: "One more step and I'll make you eat that knife."
*Astarion lowers the dagger, after he realizes you were also a prisoner on the Mindflayers' ship.*
Astarion: "And to think I was ready to decorate the ground with your innards. My apologies."Vyrren: "Apology accepted. I might have done the same, were the roles reversed."
Any accent or style can be used. Go nuts! Show me what you've got!
Use any sets of lines from the other 3 characters.
