Background Lesbians ASMR: YouTube Spinoff Audios (3 Male VAs Needed)
Project Overview
Hello! My name is Holly. I run an ASMR channel on YouTube called Nyxie ASMR. On this channel, I create audio roleplays that aim to tell entertaining stories in a relaxing way. Right now, I'm creating a new series of audios based in the world of one of my recent offerings, ‘Background Lesbians’.
Background Lesbians is about three girls who exist in the background of a BL game. They love shipping the guys in the game, debating their ships, and gabbing about the juicy gossip you only get in a BL game. However, these girls don’t want to stay background characters forever. Their goal is to get a Yuri game of their very own. But for them to get it, the girls have to interact with the guys in the game so the audience comes to know and love them.
This is where you come in! In this series of 3 audios, there are 3 guys that the girls are going to talk to, so I need 3 amazing voices to bring them to life. So if this project intrigues you, I encourage you to audition to become part of the Background Lesbians universe.
Audition Notes:
- I’m not looking for professional level audio quality, but I do ask that you use USB quality mics, speak clearly and audibly, and make sure your recordings are free from background noise and echoes. The audio you record will be used for an ASMR video, so it is vital that everything the audience hears is calm, relaxing, and pleasing to the ear.
- Please be aware that these three male characters are all portrayed as either bisexual or gay. If you are uncomfortable with this, I ask that you do not audition.
- This series is SFW, but it does contain some coarse language and suggestive/flirty dialogue, so please do not audition if you are under the age of 18.
- Please give me two sets of takes, in ABC1 ABC2 format.
Casting Notes:
- Please know that I won’t be casting until after the deadline has passed. I respect your time and effort, so you don’t need to worry about the parts being cast before you can submit your audition. Just make sure to turn it in by 11:59 PM CST on 12/12/21!
- If you are cast, please be aware that the scripts for all 3 boys are complete, so there won't be a waiting period for work to begin. I'll send out the script as soon as you're confirmed and expect your work to be submitted to me within 3 weeks.
- This project is unpaid, but your contribution to it will be recognized. On the YouTube video itself, I will post links to your CCC page, social media accounts, email, etc. so that you can be contacted by others for future work. I will also write you a recommendation on CCC that will hopefully help you to be cast in other projects. Because I may not be able to pay you for your time, but I will absolutely promote the hell out of you for your hard work!

(nervous but friendly) Me? Oh, umm, I usually just get a cappuccino. It’s equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and foam. Yeah, I know a lot about coffee. So I can make anything for you. Just ask me. (intense) And I’ll give you anything you want.
