Baccano! Abridged Series
Project Overview
For any one interested in helping with an abridged series of the anime Baccano, I currently have a script for episode 1 and am looking for voice actors and actresses who are also fans of the series. Most of the characters are from 1930s America, more specifically New York and Chicago, so keep that in mind. Also this is a hobby project for me as well as anyone involved. First episode script already finished, but welcome criticism is appreciated. People 18 and older please. Feel free to contact my discord: MeHasAHat#2433

What kind of lowlife shoots a child?
1930's accent. A toned down Harley Quinn would fit nicely.
Oh, quit whinin’ ya brave little baby.
Immortal obsessed with becoming more powerful.
Has a gruff Hungarian accent. If you're not familiar with Hungarian accents think Bela Lugosi as Dracula, but keep in mind that he has a gruff voice so maybe partly Russian sounding. Szilard might have more of a mad scientist feel to him as well.
It was nothing, now keep driving.
VIce President of the Daily Days, mentor to Carol and somewhat of an eccentric personality.
Insists that the story must be told in an entertaining and unique way, despite the possibility of confusing the reader (aka the viewer).
Now, then who would you say are our main characters of this story? Possibly the pair eccentric thieves, or maybe the child who always seems to find misfortune, or perhaps even the youngest of the three Gandor brothers.
Well, we had to stay within the theme of this story somehow didn’t we?

Upper class New York accent.

Tends to emphasize his vocabulary.
Well, you’re in a very unfortunate predicament, now aren’t you?
Personally I think it’s a bit pretentious.
Not much of a socialite, then, is he?
One of the biggest changes in this abridged series is that Ladd's whole crew is from Alabama, so Lua sounds like a southern belle.
Ladd, hun, I think you’re frightnin’ these poor police officers

So, we get any info from that Runarata bastard yet?
Let me at that sonovabitch!

For some reason I want to have him be a Patrick Warburton impression, or possibly a Noir-style detective.
Never a day in the FBI has gone by that I can recall seeing anything as gruesome as the aftermath of the Flying Pussyfoot.
You don’t get where I am by being respectful.
Kind of want to go with a Marlon Brando in The Godfather vibe with him.
Surely you haven’t forgotten. You killed his father and older brother.
Just do whatever you see fit, just make sure this is handled.
Politician who cares only about his public image, even if the people closest to him are endangered.
Possibly a sociopath.
More of a pompous voice, but only slightly.
How does this affect my popularity in the polls?

Torturer for the Gandors. 1930s New York accent.
Well, I did just get finished with the last one, and I haven’t had time to clean up.
