Avatar The Last Airbender : The Search Support Casting
Project Overview
Hello, this is a continuation of some previous casting calls I've done this year. I started with The promise, which was a movie of what happens to Aang and the gang after the final Nickelodeon season. That went well, so I decided to start a motion comic series of The Search to be premiered next year. Please consider auditioning for some of the available roles in part 1. About: The search is a sequel story to the promise, where Azula and Zuko are searching for their mother Ursa. Rumors have spread around the nations that she might still be alive as Zuko discovers a hidden secret as to why Ursa and his father were at odds from the beginning. Aang, Zuko, Azula, Katara, Aang, and Sokka go on a journey to solve mysteries, battle spirits, and ultimately figure out if Ursa is alive.

Casting Complete
Welcome aboard to those who were cast and thank you much to those who auditioned. Listening to your all's auditions helps me grow as a director and I hope you enjoyed trying out. Casting
I plan on casting around 6-7pm eastern time. I appreciate all of you taking the time to put in auditions. I try to pump out a continuous amount of calls to give more people the chance to audition for projects, so don't worry if certain roles slip away. As far as script goes, I will send that out by this weekend as I wrap up the production for other projects.

Elua is a nurse who helped raise Zuko and Azula. She seems to be kind at first to Ursa, but it turns out she's more loyal to Fire Lord Ozai when she reveals that Ursa had a boyfriend before marrying him. I imagine her voice sounding kind.

Poised and strong, fire lord Azulon is one of many fire lords in the ATLA world. He's held the title for many years and is the son of Sozin. He ruled with an iron fist, much like his father, and tried to increase the nation's military efficiency. Azulon is a perfectionist so I imagine his voice sounding over-enunciated and medium to high pitched.
This is my son Ozai, the heir to the fire nation throne.

Mitsu is a woman who had been searching for a cure to her brother's facial curse where he no long has any remembrance of a face. His face was stolen by a demon from an earlier episode in the ATLA series. In her studies as a young girl she learned of a powerful spirit "Mother of Faces" who could heal her brother. Her voice should sound wise and kind.
Rafa doesn't speak anymore due to a curse placed upon him long ago.
Of course, I am his sister. I will always care for him.

Since the dawn of time, the Mother of Faces has crafted faces for both living and non-living beings, placing a piece of herself in each face she created. It was because of her actions that separateness and identity came into the world. During this time, the Mother of Faces became estranged from her son, who later became known as Koh, the Face Stealer. Koh stole the face of Mitsu's brother long ago and the mother of faces gave Ursa a new one. Her voice should be confident, wise, and middle-aged to senior sounding.
It's been a long time...a human has accompanied my wolf spirit. How intriguing.

Kiyi is the daughter of Ursa and Noren/Ikem and the half-sister of Azula and Zuko. I imagine that she's loud in her speech and sometimes repeats herself. She should sound 6-10 years old.
