Audiobook Narrator - 5h+/week
Project Overview
This is an amazing opportunity to potentially work full time as an audiobook narrator. We will be working in partnership with a large web novel company to make audiobooks for their library of books. There are thousands of books they are looking to make into audiobooks.
This is a casting call for the books found in the audition link as well as a call to be included in the initial roster of talents for this client that will receive weekly work.
Starting Rate: $60-90pfh + raises over time to $150pfh.
Your audition must represent the exact recording setup you will use for these projects.
You will be expected to record 4-5h of finished audio every week (5 business days)
The audio should be clean and free of retakes.
You will not be required to proof your audio after you clean it.
You can consider:
- Industry standard is 3 labor hour per finished hour including editing. Many people can record faster than this.
- If this is your first book, it will likely take you 5 labor hour per finished hour
- Your voice will get very tired after recording for 4-5h so plan your time with breaks in mind.

Audition Details: There is a male and female script. Record everything that you are instructed to in each file.
