Aberdeen's Anthology (Minor Characters)
Project Overview
Nathaniel Aberdeen's Incomplete Biography of Revenants Anthology (NAIBRA / Aberdeen's Anthology) is a Tapas-original book series I'm writing that is now in the process of receiving an audio adaptation.
Plainwood is an unrecognized city-state in the mountains that grew up with the fear and dedication to spirits, including demons, ghosts, and left hands. Of course, once the left-handed Natalie Aureole moves onto the notorious Riverside Road, right next to the notorious House with the Statue On It, all of Plainwood gets riled up. Clearly, the salt rock stones, threatening notes, and mysterious tomes left all around don't help the town psyche either--and especially not the psyche of the owner of the Statue House, Eileen Pritchett
Our main method of communication will be Discord, but it's not required if you don't have or want an account.

Riley was the trusted caretaker and best friend of the main character, Natalie. Her voice is very mellow and soothing.
For now, all her role will be is talking on the phone with Natalie for one scene, but she will reappear much later in the series. If you're chosen for the role, expect to only have this one scene for the time being, but I will reach out to you in the very distant future when Riley comes back as a more major character.

[picking up a phone. Riley hasn't seen Natalie in so long and is excited to finally hear from her again] "Yo! Natalie, what's up?! You finally made it?"
[Natalie tells her something Riley hasn't planned for] "Well crap, that's a huge oversight. Hang on, lemme do some quick tech stuff with Fred and I'll get back to you."
[Natalie isn't just hanging up--Riley can tell that Natalie is about to make the phone explode and therefore cut all future ties with her and Riley. Riley is extremely concerned and terrified] "NATALIE, WAIT!"
Archie is one of the three mayors in Plainwood. He is quiet and practical, and has a light English accent.

"It’s always fun to watch your occasional patriotism, Matt."
"Oh criminy, you're right, something *is* going to happen."
[slightly disappointed that his coworker Matt threw a book through a window and broke it] "That was our favorite window..."
Cliffe is one of the mayors of Plainwood. He's a bit more outgoing than Archie and has a "piney"-type accent.

"Nah, I say we wait it out and see what happens. Don’t wanna do too much and start something unneces-scary."
What kinda omens we talking about? I heard some rustling in the woods last night if that counts for anything.
