Ezekiel runs a not so reputable shop where anyone that spends more than a few moments inside can tell most of his products are junk that he polishes and tries to make look impressive. Some of his "artifacts" do what he says they do, but they also have dangerous defects. He acts like a showman, hoping to keep his customers focused on him and not the quality of what they're buying, never breaking character unless things go horribly wrong.
Ah hello my friends! I see you have received my invitation, WELCOME! TO EZEKIEL'S MAGICAL ARTIFACTS AND SUPPLIES!
Excellent, excellent. Now tell my my friend, what is it you desire. Name it, and I shall find it!
FEAST YOUR EYES MY FRIENDS on Ezekiels MORE invincible tent. This tent will protect you from any sandstorm or desert heat. Some restrictions apply, doesn’t work on magical sandstorms, or monsters. If you experience side effects such as death, please see your local healer.
The city guards can be found throughout the series. The pay is per scene that guard is in. Some are only in one episode, some are in several. They range in age from barely an adult, to old guards that should have retired long ago. Multiple people will be offered guard roles.
(Corrupt Guard)
WAIT! Before you go, you need to pay the search party tax.
(Off Duty) I've been saying we should just abandon it, but command says we need to “maintain control”.
MAKE WAY! CLEAR THE STREETS! CITY OFFICIALS COMING THROUGH!I SAID MAKE WAY! PLEASE REMAIN CALM.
The Old Man is actually the main antagonist in disguise as the groundskeeper. He goes from defenseless confused old man to having a terrifying presence in a matter of seconds, and sometimes accidentally reveals he knows more than he should while also not dropping the Old Man act.
The Rate is $25 per episode for the first 2 episodes he is in, and $5 for the one additional line he has in a later episode.
Ahhh here we are! The tomb of the accursed fallen.
Oh, you wouldn’t make a defenseless old man lead the way into danger now would you?
*Maniacal Laughter*
There are a variety of civilians throughout the series from a variety of fantasy races, from dwarves, elves, and half orcs. They also range in age from small children to senior citizens. The pay is $3 per line, but there is a $5 minimum per role.
*watching people go towards a monster attack* Why is another boat leaving? Those morons are gonna get killed!
*drunk* Why are you in such a hurry? The world is ending anyways, just enjoy yourselves while you can!
*shopkeeper* COME GET WINE FROM THE LAST SHIPMENT TO LEAVE THE FOREST DISTRICT! With the border shut we may never have wine like this again.
The ghost speaks almost as if it's whispering, but at the volume of a normal speaking person. It possesses one of the main characters relatives, but does not speak until it is forcibly removed from his body, where it is banished seconds later.
I should have killed you and the girl when you freed me. Now look at this, the elfling made a mess of things.
The Undead Wizard has an almost unnaturally deep voice, almost like a demon. It's very voice has a commanding presence that freezes almost everyone in the same room as it. This is a recurring role. Rate is per episode.
You DARE disturb my rest.
You will not order me around like one of your puppets!
You think you can simply tell me what to do. I only take orders from one, and one alone. And you are not him.
The bartender is an a middle aged-bordering on old dwarf that retired from adventuring to open his bar for travelers to have one last stop to properly rest before entering the frozen wasteland near the bar. He's tired and hasn't had a proper nights rest in days because of a group of adventurers that have been sent to deal with monsters by local authorities have been destroying the furniture in the tavern any time any new people even attempt to join the group. The voice is on the deep end and rough like gravel.
Oh, are you here to join the hunting party too?
That would be the groups leader.
Please keep the damage to a minimum while you talk to him?
