Project Overview

Welcome to auditions for Ask The Danganronpa Characters! Here you can audition as the characters from the first gae and not the other ones as of right now because I don't wanna have 30+ people in one call. This series is quite explanitory. We will be in a skype call where we answer questions or play games or whatever for people that ask and i'll post them on either my current youtube channel or my new one if I get a new youtube channel by the due date that is well, isnt for a while, I might add more characters later on, but I think you get the jittz.

Also, you may or may not be casted as two people.

Some simples rules would be:

1. (THIS ONES REALLY IMPORTANT!) Please, Please, Please! Know something about Danganronpa or the character you are auditioning for! This is a Q&A group and if we get a question for something you don't know about things could get really difficult. Also, when trying out for the role. Really make sure you know the character and they're backstory. I can't explain everything in text.

2. Please don't beg for a role:  I'm trying to let the auditions go for a certain period of time before I choose who I wanna have voice the character.

3. Don't be a jerk to other people who audition: You wouldn't want people bashing your audition, so don't do it to others.

4. Please have a skype: The group chats are gonna be on skype and it's also an easy way to contact you. Though, don't add me unless you get the role.

5. THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FROM ALL OF THE GAMES AND THIS GAME!

6. GIRLS CAN AUDITION FOR MALE ROLES!

7. THERE IS SWEARING IN THIS SERIES!

UPDATE: I do not have Hifumi or Sakura up because from experience no one really auditions for them.


UPDATE: If a character does not get casted I will either keep their role open and extend the date or self cast it if I can do said voice or whatever. Though, that probably won't happen because you all are amazing people.

  • Just A Quick Update

    Hey guys, so I got my computer fixed and now I'm back in school so I haven't been able to cast people. It may be a while until I do so and get this up and running. That also means getting stuff to record and such. Sorry for running this project for almost a year. A friend of mine has been making me think of cancelling this project cause they don't agree with who I have cast. If it does get cancelled I apologize. As of right now it is not cancelled, just don't expect me to start casting for a while.

  • Extended the date to listen to auditions more.

    Hey everyone! So, I extended the date so that I can listen to auditions more since i'm busy finishing up school so I don't get much time to listen to auditions. Before you ask, this is not an excuse to say I haven't found voices I have liked for characters. I'm being honest when I say I extended the date because of school. I may end up shortening it later on, but you get the idea.

  • To those who have been casted.

    Hi everyone, If you have been keeping update to this, you will know I have been casting people now. I just want to say that anyone who doesn't answer my message saying I casted them after a while I will recast them. If you are wondering, yes, I have backup people I can cast if I haven't already casted them as a role if they do not respond. I may extend the due date if that is the case or so. So, if I casted you or didn't cast you you are either casted and need to answer your messages or you may be on the list for a backup if the person doesn't answer.

  • You guys must really hate me for doing this again...

    Hey everyone, I'm going to extend the date to the end of May because school is starting to become really busy since the end of the year is only a few more weeks away for me. I will try and start casting in May so that I can start messaging people for their skype information. Another reason i'm extending the date is that because of school I haven't been able to fix my computer. Also, just because I don't cast you or haven't listened to the auditions for a role does not mean I don't like what you did. It either means I liked someones more or I didn't get to that character in the amount of time I had. My goal is to get through at least two characters whenever I have open time. If you have any questions i'll try and answer them as soon as possible. Thanks.

  • Well... This is upsetting.

    Okay, now before you ask why I called this update what I did let me explain. I was really excited to start casting everyone because you're all amazing people with amazing talent and I was going to use my computer (I'm writing this on an IPad before you ask) well, my computer was broken and I decided I would fix it when I got the chance to during my Spring Break. I got the chance to today and my computer has supposedly 705 viruses on it. I tried to fix it sooner when the number was smaller, but things got a lot worst. I'm sorry for everyone who really wants to know how they did and just wanna see the project move, but with my computer having issues ever since I got it, I'm not sure how long it will take for everything to go well. Now, you're probably like, "Hey, just cast people using your tablet" well, my iPad is actually pretty old and doesn't load extremely fast and it tends to restart a few times a day due to too many things trying to open at the same time or other things (I was at a hotel and it restarted about 10 times I wanna say) so yeah, I pushed the due date to April 30th and hopefully I'll get some professional help to fix my computer or even end up getting a new one. I hope you can all understand. On the side note, I should be able to start getting questions in soon. It all depends. So yeah, it hurts me to have to deal with my computer being the wreck it is and again, I hope you can understand. Thanks everyone!

Makoto Naegi is the Ultimate Lucky Student/Ultimate Hope. Though, he doesn't have much luck at all.

Yasuhiro Hagakure is the oldest student out of everyone and is the Ultimate Clairvoyant. 

Hiro sounds very cheery, and laid-back. However though, he is very gullible and prone to panic. He is mentioned to be very clumsy with money and he has constant problems with debts.

Mondo is acts and sounds very tough. He also is very agressive. He swear frequently and tends to make chihiro cry when he yells around him, though he apologizes or will hurt the person who made chihiro cry.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru is the Ultimate Moral Compass. 

Taka is very expressive and intense in his manner of speech. He is also a hard worker, believing that one can achieve anything through it. He does not tolerate people running in the halls.

Touko Fukawa/ Genocider Syo [Genocide Jack]

Touko Fukawa is the Ultimate Writing Prodigy. Her other personality that she switches to by sneezing or fainting is Genocider Syo [Genocide Jack] is the Ultimate Murderous Fiend. 

Touko is highly suspicious of other people, frequently accusing them of thinking bad things about her. She is very blunt with people and rarely trusts others. She expresses her opinions freely and unashamedly. She sort of has a sort of know it all voice.

Genocider Syo [Or Genocide Jack in English.] Is her split personality sounds insane and has a sort of high pitched voice and is pretty obnoxious. She is pretty much really loud and straight to the point.
