Project Overview
Hello, Future Jigglypuff Lovers and Splatoon Players! I've got some GREAT news for all of the Splatoon CoroCoro Manga fans... I'm aiming to bring back voices to the CoroCoro characters after 3 long years! And I'm gonna do this in a fun way both for the voice actors and for the fans... By hosting my very own 'Ask the Splatoon CoroCoro Characters' series as my very own Octoling persona! Yes, I'll be hosting these videos where the viewers get to ask questions to the full of Team Blue, and many other teams later on, learning and finding out about things that you would've probably NEVER known about the teams... From their backstories, to their interests, to their closer thoughts, views, and opinions about what happened in previous issues! First things first, I'm looking for an artist, a writer, and some voice actors to make this first episode happen, where many people will find out and learn BRAND new things about the lovable main cast of the Splatoon CoroCoro Manga comics! (All you need for this project is a decent-sounding microphone. By desktop or phone, it doesn't really matter to me, as long as there's little to no background noise, no mic popping, and no static when you audition. A Discord Account for contact is recommended, but not required, as I can contact you here on the Casting Call Club website if you'd like, Discord is just more of an easier reach. Goggles is Team Blue's funny guy and a fun comedic Inkling in general. Goggles is always looking to have a fun time and is always cheerful and carefree in his Splat battles. He always tackles his opponents with great enthusiasm, and even when he loses, his beaming smile always stays on his face! Goggles always shows off a good attitude to others, whether it's pumping up his teammates and telling them that all hope is not lost... Or being kind and showing great sport and respect to his opponents... No matter how rude and unlikable they are! As a matter of fact, even after Goggles' opponents disrespect the whole of Team Blue... Goggles is always willing to let bygones be bygones and attempt to make up and make new friends with his rivals! With all his good, friendly, cheerful, positive, and forgiving traits, there are some other traits of Goggles that kind of bug his Team Blue teammates... As cheery as Goggles can be, he is a bit of a scatterbrain and has the intelligence and maturity of a child... Goggles may have a great sense of humor, but his humor also focuses not on having fun with his buddies, but also on pranking and pulling practical jokes on them... His favorite prank to pull off is the classic pantsing trick, where he pulls down any other Inkling's pants when they least expect it. Goggles also isn't a very good listener, showing off his scatterbrained side. He tends to mishear and misinterpret the words other Inklings are saying, leading to a very confusing and awkward atmosphere for everyone involved in the picture! Goggles DOES have a serious side, though... And when the Splat battle starts, going up against Goggles and the rest of Team Blue's DEFINITELY no laughing matter!
For Goggles' voice, I would like his to sound similar or identical to his previous voice from all of the previous CoroCoro comic dubs that were posted on YouTube before they were deleted. Hi there, everyone! I'm Goggles! Team Blue's newest Splatfest recruit! I like to believe that with good sportsmanship, great teamwork, a positive attituide, and a bright smile, there will be NOTHING that you can't do!

Specs is the captain of Team Blue. With Specs and his smart square glasses, what you see is what you get with this determined Inkling. Specs is the intelligent one of the team, knowing the best routes and strategies for his team to take in Turf Wars and other Splat Battles. Specs is a wise leader who is always expected to lead the way to victory. Specs often gets annoyed pretty easily by his teammates' antics, however, especially with Goggles. His hot-headed personality means that Specs often tends to get jealous or furious with the opponets he faces, who usually act all cocky on thier high-house, and rub thier victory in Team Blue's face. And despite Specs showing more intelligence and maturity than other Inklings, he does tend to argue with Goggles about the smallest of things, like one time where a debate over what ice cream to be in, whether it should be in a cone or a cup, turned out into a full blown argument and fight between the two.

Hi. I'm Specs. Captain of Team Blue and expert on Turf War routes and battle strategies. As you can probably tell from these cool-looking glasses, yes, I am the smart one... But then again, Goggles, who's part of my team, unfortunately, would make literally ANYONE look smart.
(Angry) GOGGLES! This is NOT a good time to be messing around here! We got a turf war in like, 1 more minute, and you STILL haven't gotten all your Splat gear ready yet!

Headphones is the more sensible Inkling of Team Blue. Compared to the other members of the team, who usually have an erratic and unusual behavior pattern, Headphones reactions to situations seem to be the most reasonable and fitting... For example, if a situation seems to be pretty scary and intimidating, Headphones usually responds to the situation by being scared and intimidated, instead of carefree and still smiling. Headphones also doesn't like to argue over little things like Goggles and Specs do with each other, often getting frustrated whenever she does have to put up with the two failing to agree to disagree. While Headphones is easily scared, sometimes even to the point where she's crying, she's working on being more confident in her battles, and even looks out for her teammates like they're part of her family... Sacrificing herself and suggesting and recommending what to do next in order to survive is something that she's pretty keen on doing, as long as her buddies are ok and gain the upper hand in the end!

Hi there! I'm Headphones! I'm part of Team Blue in the Splatfest competiton! I'm a little embarrased to say this... But I often have to keep a close lookout for my teammates like I'm their parent... They're more curious than you may think, believe it or not!
(Uncomfortable and Scared) Please, you two... Just stop arguing for one moment, please!!! All the anger... All the loud noises! We're NEVER gonna win a Turf War in this state!

Bobble Hat is the most cheerful and carefree Inkling of Team Blue... Even more so than Goggles! Bobble Hat is barely if EVER, seen without a smile. Bobble Hat never really gets angry at anything, and never really gets nervous about anything... Bobble Hat is just seen... Happy! Cheerful both on and off the battlefield, you could say that Bobble Hat always laughs in the face of danger, as she pays no attention to the consequences or scary moments around her battling her opponents, and unlike Specs or Headphones, who dread seeing Goggles goof off and act silly, Bobble Hat finds Goggles' antics rather funny, and sometimes will even join in the fun with Goggles if she has the chance to!

Hi there! I'm Bobble Hat. My teammates on Team Blue have told me that if happiness was a ray of sunshine, I'd burn away all their vision. Huh, I just realized that maybe THAT'S the reason Specs wears glasses!
Looks like we're going to lose! HOORAY! There's absouletly NO way we're going to make a comeback! HOORAY! My mommy's going to be so disappointed with me when I come back home! HOORAY!

I'm looking for a volunteer writer to write the script and dialogue for the episode! I'm looking for a writer who has great knowledge about the Splatoon CoroCoro Manga series and can write in a comedic, funny style, all while still being serious enough when the characters answer some of the questions. These episodes could have a cutaway gag written in them like the ones in Family Guy depending on what Team Blue answers with if you want, too!

I'm looking for a volunteer artist who can design Team Blue's and my Octoling persona's look! I'm looking for a style that's very similar to the Corocoro designs in the actual manga. You might also have to design the characters in a few different scenarios if there are any cutaway gags written in the script. What you design and draw will be emotions and mouths opening and closing, like a still animation, sort of. Here are links to videos from previous existing Ask series as an example. If you want to audition, please send me any designs that you've made of any Inklings or Octolings!
