Aron's Adventure is a Third Person Action Adventure Game.
Aron will explore a handful of open areas, here he can travel where he likes, helping the people that live there, talking to strangers, solve puzzles.
In every open area Aron is tasked with helping the local population fight back against evil in different ways. In return for this he will gain valuable resources for his army and the final conflict with Crawin (the bad guy).
There's also around a dozen smaller linear levels where we flesh out the story or teach Aron new Abilities.
Key features:
Combat: Use a bow or different melee weapons to fight the enemies you will find in Elor.
Boss fights: Fight a lot of different bosses throughout the game.
Exploration: With both multiple open and linear areas there's enough to discover in the world of Elor.
Dungeons: Gain valuable loot and fight strong enemies in one of the many dungeons that the game will have.
Kyle is the crafter of Rive, he’s not a very talented man. But he is eager for a change of environment. He’s a victim to the daily grind and doesn’t have a lot going for him. This chance of death and a new sentinel in his valley, that is kind of exciting!
Oi Aron, I heard you are the new Sentinel. I’m Kyle, I’ll craft ye anything if you bring me the resources.
I’m not legally allowed to let a sentinel pay if I’m to believe the old law.
Owen is a shop owner in Rive, he lost his wife a few years ago and finds peace in buying and selling goods to the people of the valley. He’s a skinny, middle-aged and quiet man. His store recently was robbed and the thieves even took his wedding ring. This upset him, his store hasn’t been opened in days and he has been training to fight back against the thieves. People in town are starting to get worried and have put out a request for someone to help Owen and get him back to his store.
What do you want? I am a little busy.
They probably don’t think I can defend myself. Or they just want the store to open.
A crazy side-character that tries to sell lootboxes to Aron whenever Aron walks by.

A soldier of Cryll, the capital of the humans of Elor. A soldier that joined the army but wasn’t very eager to fight in it.

Some of us have to follow orders.
Arley is the leader of a cult living in the hills of Dragon Valley. They are obsessed with dragons and will follow anyone that has claimed to have seen one. They believe in a prophecy that a chosen one will appear and slay the last dragon. Arley in particular believes that the heart of a dragon can give humans eternal life and fire breath. He intends to eat it when the Dragon Slayer has done his job.
Ah! Outsider, why are you here?
It's as close to the dragon cemetery as we can live without Baredale soldiers attacking us. These hills provide us with cover that we need to survive.
This is a very beautiful place, Dragon Slayer. We are humbled that we get to stay here.
This NPC recently got summoned by a voice in hear head to travel to the forbidden lands past the graveyards where a war took place many years ago. On the way there the NPC hit his/her head and snapped out of the trance. She was walking with multiple other people. She returned home and made sure to lock her doors at night ever since.
(Afraid) You’re Aron! I’m so glad you found me. People from Baredale and other places have been disappearing recently. I was one of those people.
This soldier barely survived the long night and has now been getting reports of a massive troll that entered the area not far from here.
Aron, I can’t believe we survived that night. Now there’s an additional threat. One of the scouts has spotted a giant troll not too far from here.
A boy that has lived in the city of Baredale all his life. He’s obsessed with sentinels like Aron and can’t believe all the stories he’s heard. He’s a bit of a stoner.

This character has recently lost his child. She was killed by a small troll that comes close to Baredale from time to time. Afraid to take any action he was hoping Aron could help him.
Sentinel, thank you for coming. A troll that lives in the woods recently murdered my dear Gracy. She was just a small innocent child.
The town's story teller and a bit of a freak. He has created a puzzle with a substantial reward at the end.

This quest giver will ask Aron to investigate a village that was recently visited by this NPC. the NPC feels obligated to help out the trapped spirits.

The spirits are trapped on this land, unable to join the eyes up above. Probably a long time ago by the same witch that has now returned.
This character lives in a home close to Baredale, he/she recently put all his savings into this house that doesn’t really make a lot of sense, he has to climb a ladder on the outside to get to his room.
Hahaha, can you believe this! I can’t even go upstairs without walking around my house and climbing a ladder.

A soldier at shadow’s edge. Was stationed there after fighting in multiple big fights. Very happy with his current position, it’s a lot more quiet. He intends to retire soon. When Aron finds him, he had recently been attacked by a group of cannibals, he escaped imprisonment but without his legs.
They send you to look for me. As you can see my time as a soldier is over.
They ate my legs, can you believe it? While they were busy, I crawled my way out of there. Hiding in bushes and behind trees.
This character won’t have a name, he’s a sentinel that mastered the art of creating illusions. When the cults were looking for any sentinel to kill, he placed himself on an island where he hid himself by creating an illusion of a dense forest on this small lake. Too afraid to leave he took his own life after being there for hundreds of years.
The cleansers, I can still hear their screams of anger in the distance. I’m afraid, I want to help my friends but I don’t know how.
