Overview:
A small side project idea that I had in mind. While re-watching all of the AvM shorts, I thought it would be fun to have actual voices for the stick figures rather than TTS. As a voice actor myself, I thought it would be a good idea to share this idea through casting call. Of course, the voices I am looking for, as well as the “script” for the dubs, will be mostly off my head canon, so this project isn’t necessarily for views, just something fun to do. Don’t worry, my head canon isn’t weird, and I can assure you that the “script” I have in mind will not involve any weird statements or phrases. Maybe a few memes and jokes here and there, but mostly trying to stay accurate to the original content. I hope that you take interest in this little project of mine!
Side note: Since we don’t have official names for the stick figures, I just decided that they would call each other by their color, except for SC since they got a name. I also recommend that you watch Alan Becker’s AvM series, and his Animator vs. Animation series while you’re at it! Not only will it give you a better idea about the dub, but it also introduces you to a very good animator!
If you do plan to join this project, then please keep in mind that if you do join, we will dub the original AvM animation as well as its shorts. As for other Animation vs. videos, we can leave that to the audience or a vote between ourselves.
Disclaimer!:
Just to say it again, voices and lines will be completely based off my head canon, so while I might be looking for a certain type voice, if need be, I can still be flexible with what there is. Also, there is a high chance of light cursing so if you are uncomfortable with cursing, you may want to back away.
Requirements
-Be 18+, this is mostly just a voice actor maturity issue. I want to make sure that the voice actors are mature enough to see this through properly.
-Please put your discord tag in your audition. We will be using a discord server as a main means of communication.
-Please have little to no background noise/static. If there is background noise/static, at least try to see how much you can reduce without it altering your voice and see how it goes from there.
-mp3 or wav files are okay. Take as many takes as you need!

For those of you who are questioning why I chose some character to be male voices while some character have female voices, it’s because I wanted to add variety but didn’t think ambiguous voices(Like Venti from Genshin) would fit well for these characters. Of course, I don’t mean to say that heavily masculine or feminine voices are required, I mostly put the genders as a reference point.
