Yo yo! This casting call is for season one of Regression of passive aggression! This series is a psychological thriller based supernatural animated series with an anime-esq vibe to it! Just a warning before hand, this anime deals with heavy topics and gore. We don't sugar-coat ANYTHING here.
Plot Summary
In the small remote country of Galsaint, the people on this island have developed strange supernatural powers due to unknown circumstances- the people soon developed an internalized hierarchy based around these new abilities. These being the docile with passive, usually weaker abilities. And the disobedient, those with more aggressive abilities meant for combat. with no explanation as to how these powers got to the public some grew suspicious of their origins. While others thought it as a gift from god. Though these powers weren't the only things to come, with distorted creatures known only as monsters or beasts started to wreak havoc around Galsaint putting it in a state of chaos, The people of galsaint are now struck with fear from these monsters and the cruel, unfair society that consumes them.

This was a choice we made after me and a friend thought it was a good idea and started to work on it, the more it fell together. This is both of our first times making anything like this, and we'd love your support! even if you don't feel like applying, just joining our discord or following us on twitter would be plenty of help! This is free simply because we don't plan on profiting off of this, only seeing it as a passion project. We already have concept designs of the main characters and are just going along as we please. She's the older one of the group, it's an unspoken rule that she's the leader, her voice is medium to medium low. she usually speaks in a distant yet warming tone. She's mysterious, as well as the care taker of Kazuya. MAKE HER SOUND LIKE A MILF
"So.. you have the audacity to break into my home, hurt my pupils, and HURT MY BABY BOY? You'll pay with your flesh.."
"I know you kids have some good in you, at least.. that's what I'd say if you didn't fuck up my car you little shi-URGHH! These god danm kids, I can't catch a break!"
"OH hun, there's so much you don't know about this world, if you wanna find out I suggest you come along or stay in the dark, your choice."
Kazuya- despite his androgynous appearance is a male! He's a younger child and also apart of the group. Generally a naïve and well meaning kid, he has a naturally higher voice, and of course it's child-like.
"My momma said I'm too old to be afraid of monsters so.. ALL OF YOU JUST DISAPPEAR!"
"Wait.. this isn't a cucumber it's a pickle! That means it's still a baby.. Can we keep it?"
"OOOOOH i get it! (whisper) Jaki what's a bar graph again?"
Jaki is a rowdy person, pretty upbeat with a short fuse. Having a medium voice, it's raspy but still clear enough to be well understood.
"Listen, there's only one thing I hate more than noise complaints. and it's you FUCKERS hurting my friends!"
"Hey hey, I know we're only sophomores but a little beer can fix up this party, huuuh? c'mon, back me up alexadri- OW!"
"Boooooring! Who wants to hang at my place instead of train with this old crown?"
Axel, to be frank, is a cynical but well dressed teen, he looks like he grew p to fast, usually wearing business clothes. and progressively gets more and more tired of the groups bullshit shenanigans. His voice is medium low and has a somewhat growl to it.
"So you think you're a tough guy, huh? well how about i knock some of your teeth out.. let's see if you learn some manners then?"
"So let me get this straight, you wanna barge in powers blazing into a POLICE STATION- fuck that! I moved here to avoid the cops not piss 'em off!"
"I'm stuck in a group of idiots.. LIKE C'MON YOU GUYS GOTTA HAVE SOME SKILL ASIDE FROM BEING LOUD AND ANNOYING OR FUCKING UP MY SHIT!"
Jun is by definition, a pretty boy. Everything he does is arrogant and flamboyant. He can't get enough of acting superior. He also happens to be unapologetically gay for Axel, and he doesn't even bother to hide it! Looking for a medium voice, you know the one. That standard, smooth prince charming voice.
"How about I show these hoodlums what TRUE superiority is!"
"Aaaaaaxellll! what do you MEAN you won't go out with me? I'M RICH AND ATTRACTIVE WHAT ELSE COULD YOU POSSIBLY NEED?"
"You ladies have no idea how to get a man (snarky laugh ) Let me show you how a natural does it.
Adelaine is a passive magic user in the main squad, although she isn't seen very often. She's a timid girl. Aim for a medium-high voice, she usually apologises a lot.
"I know you can do it, if you really try!"
"I know, I'm actually pretty weak compared to you, that's why i have to do this.."
"Please.. get it over with, while I'm still human..."
