Animal Crossing Murder Mystery video + Future videos (ONE RECAST NEEDED)

Project Overview

This video will be a part of a story arc that I'm currently working on. This particular video won't be out for a while (I haven't even began writing the script for it), I'm still working on other videos before I get to this one. But in the meantime, I've decided to put up some roles of some characters I'd like to include in this video. The video in question revolves around several Animal Crossing characters (both old and new to the series) trying to solve a murder mystery in a similar vein to Clue and Danganronpa. I highly recommend you watch click on the playlist and watch the videos to get caught up and also determine if you'd like to be a part of this strange series! I'm giving plenty of time for people to come audition, since like I said, I won't be making this video for a while. Can't wait to hear these auditions!

  • Catching Up/Bertha Recast!!!

    Hello everyone! I apologize for not listening to auditions. I've dealing with personal life and other projects. It's going to be a while before I even begin this particular video. One of my biggest things right now is that I have a video that I haven't been able to finish because I still need voice lines for one of the characters, Bertha. The VA of Bertha has been unable to record her lines and I haven't been able to contact her for almost 2 months. So long story short, I need somebody else to step up and voice Bertha. I'm going to add her role along with some links to my older videos so you can all get an idea of what she sounds like. And I will also be going through more submitted auditions for Fuchsia and Apollo. Thank you all!

Cherry is a sisterly villager, but more importantly she's a rock star! She's the lead singer of her band known as the Li'l Devils (Pocket Camp reference). Her role is helping solve the supposed murder of Mr. Funky as she believes that the one responsible for it is also responsible for setting her concert on fire. She's aggressive and energetic both on and off stage, but she's also kind-hearted. I'm looking for a voice that reflects that (bonus points if you can sing).

Katt is a sisterly villager and a member of Cherry's band, the Li'l Devils. She's a close friend of Cherry and was happy to step in and join the band after the former bassist stepped down in order to move on to bigger and better things. Katt's role is kinda small, as she appears in a flashback of the night the concert is set on fire. For her voice, I imagine it maybe being a bit chill sounding, but at the same time it's one of those cases where I'm not entirely sure, so I'll leave it up to all you auditioners out there.

Bree is a snooty villager and the guitar player of the Li'l Devils! She loves the attention she gets especially when she plays guitar solos. She along with the other band members (aside from Cherry) have a minor role in the flashback of the Li'l Devils' concert catching fire. Bree's voice I imagine being a bit high pitched since she's a mouse, but also with a bit of the attitude that snooty villagers tend to have.

  • I, Bree, have stolen thunder from the gods for my guitar! And now I will shred it for all to hear!!

Fuchsia is a sisterly villager and the proud drummer of the Li'l Devils. She's usually chill, but aggressive when it comes to drumming. For her voice, I don't really have anything in mind, just whatever you all think fits her.

Apollo is a cranky villager and also a former villager of my island, Stanzville. He left the island and it's unclear what he's been doing, he just one day decided to show up to a Li'l Devils concert, where he witnessed an unfortunate event. His role is pretty small, as he's one of a few characters in the concert audience. Apollo's voice should be a typical deep middle aged man voice, someone who's prone to crankiness but still can get along with if you play your cards right.

  • What? I'm not bald! I've just got fine feathers, that's all!

Kidd is a smug villager and your typical concert attender. His role is small, and revolves around him being at the Li'l Devils concert. Little did he know what would happen. Kidd is a pretty chill and cool guy who gets along with just about anyone, and he's very passionate about different rock bands (especially the Li'l Devils) His voice should reflect that personality.

  • Here's a word of advice, my dude. Be yourself, because everybody else is taken.

Aurora is a normal villager. She's seems sweet and innocent, and that's because she is. But she's also very into the Li'l Devils. So much that she attends a concert one night, along with some friends such as Kidd and Apollo (all small roles btw, including her). I don't have a particular voice in mind for her, just anything that can capture her personality will be fine.

Bertha is a normal villager who's kind, sweet, and loves to read books. She also can get a bit shy and awkward when talking to others, as she wants to give a good impression, but she opens up once she gets comfortable with someone. In my series she has developed a friendship with my character and very caring towards him unlike the characters. She even snapped and stood up for him at one point.
