Hello ! My name is Veeah and I have started working on an Animal Crossing series. I will need Voice Actors to play the villagers!
What's this series about?
This series (currently unnamed) will be a comedy sitcom-styled series created in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The basic plot of the series revolves around Khaos, a populated island, and its residents. There are many different villagers who will appear in this series, so there are lots of opportunities for a role! This will most likely be a long term projects as I am planning for there to be multiple episodes.
Rules for Auditioning:
- Feel free to audition for as many roles as you like!
If you feel you may fit more than one character, go for it ! I will be very open-minded with casting, considering I only have specific voices in mind for a few characters.
- Microphone Quality must be good!
I will very much be taking note of your microphone quality. Proper microphones only, no earphones/headphone mics/phones mics. XLR and USB mics are both fine, as long as there is no background noise and clear audio !
- Preferably over the age of 14.
I don't really mind how old you are when auditioning, but I would prefer you be over the age of 14. Not only am I looking for talented voice actors, but also mature people that are going to take this seriously!
- Commitment
Like I said above, this will possibly be a long-term project, depending on how it performs on YouTube. So please remember you may have to stick around for a while if you are cast!
- MUST HAVE DISCORD
Discord is an absolute MUST as this is how I will be communicating with the cast and giving/receiving lines. Make sure you have stated your FULL discord in your audition's description. I will not be casting auditions without a discord.
- PAYMENT *(PLEASE READ)*
As you can probably tell, this will not be a paid project. I am not making much (or honestly, any) revenue at the moment, so payment will be on hold. However, if this series manages to do well on YouTube and I get enough revenue, I would be happy to pay cast members. However this is not a promise, as I have no idea how well this series will do- I'm doing this series for fun anyway. :)
The video shown above is my last animal crossing video! It will be similar to this, but smaller in time length and more sitcom-styled with villagers talking to the camera, comedy etc.

With the original deadline coming to a close, I have officially assigned roles to those whose voices I am 100% set on, which is about half the characters.
The roles that remain open will remain open until the next deadline, where I will assign voice actors to, or decide to extend the deadline further because I am not certain on a voice.
Also, everyone auditioning for the “various extra roles” will get at least one line in an episode so long as they are on board, so if you want to be guaranteed participation in my project, even if small— that option is there!

Papi is the protagonist of this series !
He's a generally nice guy. He's considerate, smart and mature. Usually the reason within the group, however is constantly dragged into trouble and messy situations due to his oddball friend group.
Voice expectations:
Papi's age reference in the series is late 20s-early 30s.
Really would like that more realistic-sounding tone of voice when it comes to voicing Papi, as his level-headed character should contrast the outrageousness of a lot of his friends.
Papi has a larger role in the series as a member of the core group, so voicing him will likely be a long-term commitment if plans for the series go through.
“I’d say I’m a pretty social person. Although so far, the friends I’ve made on this island are… oddballs? Yeah. I’m gonna go with that.“
“AH! WH?!- Geez Pashmina, you scared the days out of me…”
“Since the incident with my house, I’ve been staying with Zell and Pashmina. Which is… uh, nice of them? Except, well… I haven’t gotten a wink of sleep.”
Pashmina is... interesting. Extremely troublesome and drawn to chaos. Or maybe chaos is drawn to her. She's very out there. Probably a bruh girl. Raging lesbian. (I am not great at explaining things).
Voice expectations:
Pashmina's age reference in the series is mid-late 20s.
No specific preferences for Pashmina's voice! I feel like a raspy voice would work well, but honestly, anything could work!
“Okay, I’m Pashmina! But no one is allowed to call me that except my mom. Call me Pash! Or Mina…or both. Maybe both?“
[A friend’s house has just burnt down, but Pash is more focused on possibly having a new roommate.] “Seriously sucks for you man. But hey, means you can come live with me and Zell!“
[Pashmina is convinced someone she knows has murdered someone and is kind of making crap up as she goes.] “What?! Yes he is! He’s a murderer! And murderers, like to murder more, when someone figures out THAT THEY ARE A MURDERER!“
Felicity gives off major girl-next-door vibes. She's sweet, caring and considerate to everyone she meets. However she is a bit insecure and doesn't really know what she wants to do in life. Unfortunately is also oblivious to Bones' huge crush on her.
Voice expectations:
Felicity's age reference in the series is early 20s. No specific voice preferences for Felicity, just nothing high pitched and cutesy. As long as you can convey her kind nature!
“I’m Felicity. Piper’s my best friend, though she’s a bit… much sometimes. We’re very different, but it works!”
[talking to herself, trying not to freak out] “embrace the chaos, felicity… it’s in the island’s name. Of course this was going to end up insane…”
“I thought it was kind of daring… but also dangerous. Please don’t do that again.“
Axel is a minor character who owns a Candy shop on the island with his best friend, Bluebear. Him and Bluebear are inseparable and are both very energetic- although Axel is the more calm one of the two. He's just a sweet guy all-around.
Voice expectations:
Axel's age range in the series is early-mid 20s.
No specific idea in mind for Axel! Open to anything :)
[Bluebear is pointing out a sale to Axel.] "You’re right, Blue! This chocolate bar is, like, forty cents less!"
“Hey, you guys should stop around our shop sometime! Wait… I think that’s what Blue already just said.”
Rodeo is a smaller character who doesn't appear much other than one specific episode that revolves around him. Rodeo has recently moved in, and most residents are suspicious of him and his general shadiness.
Voice expectations:
Rodeo has no specific age reference in this series!
Rodeo has a very low-pitched voice, however quite softspoken and talks always with kindness.
[An intruder has just been caught sneaking into Rodeo's house, and is terrified of how Rodeo will react. To their surprise, Rodeo is extremely friendly!] "uh, hello. I... wasn't expecting visitors today!"
[Practising for a part in the local play.] “ LEAVE NOW, OR I WILL TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB!”
“ I think I finally made some friends here!”
Pashmina's roommate, and the only one who can keep her under control. He's very sarcastic, often monotone. Usually the reason within the group when Papi isn't around. "I'm too tired for this shit" vibes.
Voice expectations:
Zell's age reference in the series is mid-late 20s.
Medium-Low pitched voice. African American voices will be favoured!
[He is waiting for his roommate to arrive to introduce them both.] "Oh, no, don’t worry this is perfectly in character for her. I’d be more concerned if she actually showed up on time. "
[He is bailing his roommate out for shoplifting, when he realises she has been getting caught on purpose. He should sound shocked while still keeping his monotone demeanour.] "Hooo-lyyy crap. You’re not a kleptomaniac, you’re a simp! You’re shoplifting so you get to talk to miss secretary over there!"
[Upon seeing someone he thinks is an Idiot lol] “Wow, you must really be sleep deprived to invite this nutjob into our apartment.“
Bones is an introvert with anxiety. His fear of being judged by people causes him to not come out of his shell a lot. However he is extremely close with his roommate Cranston, and is a lot more himself around him, making snarky comments and joking around. Maybe he'll learn some confidence!
Voice expectations:
Bones' age reference in the series is early 20s.
No preferences for Bones, just PLEASE, NO over-the-top cutesy shy boy voices.
“Cranston and I have been best friends since we were seven. He’s an idiot, but… I’m really glad to have him. Don’t tell him I said that. He doesn’t need his ego boosted.“
[Bones bumps into his crush, Felicity, and freaks out, jumbling up his words.] "Oh-! F-Felicity! Um, headed to- um, Eat cafe at the food. I MEAN- eat food at the cafe-"
“Don’t get me wrong, I still hate parties. But if it’s hosted by Felicity, it’s sure to be a more comfy chill event, right? So I’ll go. For that reason only. No other reason. …shut up.“
Cranston is a high-energy idiot. Not much else to it. Bones' roommate and self-acclaimed wingman. Thinks he's funny, but he has the humour of a 12-year-old, so obviously he isn't. Is also quite close with Pashmina, creating possibly the most chaotic duo on the island.

Cranston's age reference in the series is early 20s.
No specific preferences for Cranston, however, there is an ongoing joke where he puts on a deeper voice to sound cool, so his voice actor preferably should be able to do a low voice as well for those moments.
"Hey, I’m Cranston. Aspiring future owner of Boomer co convenience store, and I’m also on the global leaderboard in animal team battle royale."
[talking to his work’s rival store] “ Likely story. Anyway, do you mind self-promoting your cult house elsewhere? Like in the nearest alleyway perhaps?”
[panicked, thinking he’s gonna die so he does the first thing he can think of] “ You can’t kill us! I’m filming right now!”
Ah yes, the diva unicorn we all love. Julian plays the role of the island's sheriff- no one knows why, though. extremely high maintenance and his priorities probably aren’t what a sheriff’s should be. (If it includes ruining his hair, it’s not happening.)
Voice Expectations:
Julian's age reference in the series is early 30s.
Julian's voice should be sassy. British accents will be favoured!
“ Hello all! I’m Julian, the island’s sheriff. I bet you didn’t expect someone like me to live on this island. But yes, it’s true. I’m a ten, living amongst a bunch of… sixes, if I’m being generous.”
“UGH! I have better places to be anyways… like… like— THE TROPICS! Chevre, book me tickets right now.“
“Oh, um.. about that, can you just clear everything? I’m visiting my family in Britain for my half sister’s wedding. It’s Nordic~ themed! …whatever that means. “
Sweetest bean you'll ever meet. Sprinkle is a pure sweetheart who everyone on the island adores (as they should, she's gorgeous), she runs her own ice cream shop and gets along with everyone. Don't mess with her though. Because although Sprinkle wouldn't hurt a fly, if you mess with her, the rest of the island will probably come after you.
Voice expectations:
Sprinkle doesn't have a specific age reference in the series.
Sprinkle's voice actor should be able to convey Sprinkle's playful, happy energy, whilst also being softspoken. In other words, give me a voice that will make me wanna HUG TF OUTTA YOU
"Welcome to my little shop! It’s called “the ice pop stop”, and I sell- well, ice pops! And ice cream too.”
[trying to comfort a friend] “At least they salvaged most of your things?”
“Bones, you dropped your wallet at the start of the day, I’ve been trying to give it back to you.“
Side character that only appears once per ep but they’re hilarious so you love them” vibes. When O'Hare appears, he advertises his useless products that change every day, asking everyone to invest in it. No one ever does though. When he’s not entrepreneur-ing, his main hobby is giving terrible advice. Not on purpose of course. But his advice is still terrible.

O'Hare has no specific age reference in this series.
O'Hare is literally the only character whose voice I'm picky about, as his character is highly inspired by Tom from Parks and Recreation, any voice similar to his would be perfect!
