Amalgamate (Danganronpa V3 Fanfic Reading) - Second Casting Call
Project Overview
Hello and welcome to the second Casting Call for Amalgamate - The Audio Series!
Before you proceed, please note that there will be spoilers for the whole of Danganronpa V3!! Swearing and Characters in pain will also be involved, so if you're not comfortable with that this might not be your cup of tea.
Before we start, let us explain what Amalgamate is, for anyone that hasn’t heard of it. It’s a really cool Danganronpa V3 fanfic written by DoctorHaifisch. It focuses mainly on Kaito Momota and Kokichi Ouma and we are doing a fanfic reading of it. For this new episode and beyond we are in need of some new voice actors and understudies, since some vas had to leave the project for their own reasons. The roles we are casting with this Casting Call are
Tsumugi Shirogane (Main VA and Understudy)
Shuichi Saihara (Understudy)
K1B0 aka. Kiibo (Understudy)
Kaito’s Grandmother (Main VA)
Rules:
Auditions can be sent here over CCC or to the email mlpfan135(at)gmail.com (If sent with email and there are multiple auditions, we only accept them if it’s one file per character and they are all sent in one email.)
Please label your audition recordings as follows: AmalgCC2_Character_Username (example: AmalgCC2_Tsumugi_FireArt)
For each audition, we’d like you to say the few lines noted below, so we know how you sound.
Please record in a quiet environment. So no background noise.
You are allowed to audition for as many characters as you like, but just beware of spoilers both in the story and the audition lines. You can also get more than one role.
We do judge on voice accuracy and acting. We recommend listening to a few voice lines out of the actual game or from the already released episode for reference.
Communication will be over Discord, so you will need to have that. ;)

Tsumugi Shirogane is the Ultimate Cosplayer. She makes a lot of anime and game refrences and seems to be very plain. Even saying so herself often.
Since the story will goes all the way to chapter 6 and beyond, the more crazy side of Tsumugi as the mastermind will come to light. If you audition for her, please be aware of that fact.

Line 1: (Casual) Oh, my name is Tsumugi Shirogane. I'm the Ultimate Cosplayer. Are you... surprised? I get that a lot, since I'm so plain. Line 2: (Casual) Yeah, I think it's just plain fun to become fictional characters. To become a completely different person and feel like you're part of a different world... Doesn't that sound interesting?
Line 3: (Disbelieve) There's no way Gonta would kill! He won't even kill bugs! Line 4: (Anger/Desperation/Crazy) So it doesn't matter how much you fight. You can't change the outside world. Cuz the outside world still wants Danganronpa! That won't change! So do you still want to throw your lives away? Even if it changes nothing?
Line 5: (Nervous) W-We were going to work together... We promised to become friends...
Shuichi Saihara is the Ultimate Detective in Danganronpa V3 and has a serious and polite personality. He is unsure of himself and often assumes other people can do things better than him. Once a murder has accured though and an investigation as well as class trial happen, he becomes the most reliable person in the room, reveiling the truth nomatter what the consequences.

Line 1: (Uncertain) I'm... Shuichi Saihara. They call me the Ultimate Detective, but... Line 2: (Wise) Some lies can lead the world to hope... Some truths can lead the world to despair... So I don't think anyone can really say which is more right in the end.
Line 3: (Determined) Don't you see? If hope wins, the killing won't stop! It's *because* hope wins that the killing never stops! That's why I'm going to reject that hope. Line 4: (Sad) Why are you still trying to get me to be brave? Why, Kaede!? Why are you thinking about everyone except yourself!? If you had just been less selfless, you wouldn't have had to murder... Why...? Why do you do that?
Line 5: (Shouting) That's...enough! Enough of your bullshit, Monokuma! I made a promise to Kaito! I will end this killing game! And to give Kaito's death meaning, I swear I *will* keep my promise!
K1-B0, also known as Kiibo is the Ultimate Robot. He is polite and serious and has trouble with social interactions, often coming across as unintentionally comical as a result. He takes pride in his form and can get angry when he thinks people are making disciminatory remarks towards him as a robot.

Line 1: (Formal) I'm not just any old robot! I am K1-B0, the Ultimate Robot! But please, address me as Keebo! Line 2: (Offended) Hey, that’s robophobic!
Line 3: (Sad) Krgh... I want to cry, but I can't... I should have had Miu install a crying function! Line 4: (Casual/Encouraging) Right now, there is no use in thinking about whether our lives have meaning or not... Because as long as we're alive, we still have the power to decide that meaning for ourselves... That's what I believe hope is!
Line 5: (Confident) No! My inner voice already told me what to do! I need to remedy this! If that's the voice of the outside world, then the outside world actually wants hope! So I will trust the outside world! I will trust in hope! This is the power of hope!
Kaito's Grandmother does not have many lines in the story. If you are chosen for this role, we will take your audition lines for the actual audio production.
This woman is sweet and caring and loves her grandson dearly.
