Alphabet Killers
Project Overview
Hello future AK member!
We are the developers of the Alphabet Killers also known as the AK, an audio drama series. We are looking for talented Script Writers, Audio Editors, Foley Artists, Artists, and Composers, like yourself, in order to bring this remake project to life. Right now we have an episode by episode idea outline for all of season one, and a plot idea for season two. We are ready to begin production of this project, the last thing we need is you.
-- Please know that this will be a TV-14 rated project, so we are only accepting auditions from people fifteen and older.
--Season one will contain thirteen episodes in total. The same will apply to season two when the project begins.
--With our target episode length being around 20 to 30 minutes, we plan to release an episode once a month. We are specifically looking for people with excellent time management skills as deadlines, though longer, will be absolute (Unless of course you have exceeding circumstances, and contact us prior informing us of situation).
--At this moment these will not be paid roles. However, if we do gain an interest, and income from the project, compensation will be discussed.
Project Description
In this world AK is one of the top groups in the underground. They keep their work under the radar; leaving the police with little to no information on them, and their deeds out of the public eye. Having created stability, and a name for themselves, they begin expanding their reach to more cities. Sending out three squadrons, the Alpha K headquarters is left with less than half of their members. Holding down the fort, the seven remaining members have no worries as no one has come close to their level, nor was anyone dumb enough to. This changes when a new group the AK mockingly calls the Copy-Cat Killers shows up. The Copy-Cats begin acting out in public view, calling themselves AK, and wreaking havoc for all to see. Their actions bring attention to the organization, shoving AK right into the limelight of the city. In turn, an investigation team is created with the sole purpose of taking down "AK". Simultaneously, the true Alpha K is trying to stop the Copy-Cats before more damage can be done. At a disadvantage due to the member count they have at the moment, it becomes a dire matter where every move counts. Suspecting a cop to be apart of the Copy Cats, the remaining members realize they need more eyes on the inside of the precinct. Cue Audrey, a cop who wishes to prove herself on the team to take down AK, and our main protagonist. As the story unravels listeners will find out just how far the two opposite sides will go stop the worlds they know, and city they control, from falling.

We wanted to thank everyone for the auditions they have submitted. At this time we will be reviewing over everyone's auditions carefully. We may message you on the side as some of these auditions are close calls. We will want to see more of your work, and ask you for a tie breaker. In a day or two we will be re-opening the script-writers role, so anyone interested may still audition for the slot. Thank you again, and best wishes AK directors
In order to assess your work we ask you write two scenes - One dialogue, and one world building. There is no word limit for either prompt, so you are free to write as much, or as little, as you deem necessary. As long as you answer the prompts in a well written manner, that you feel shows your full capabilities, the length does not matter. When writing please do note that humor, though not necessary, is a good touch. This series, although dark, will have its comedic moments
For the first scene, you will need to write a dialogue between O and C. These two AK members have a sibling like relationship despite not being blood-related. More information on both of them can be found in the links below. Within the links you will find a character sheet containing their names, facts, and answers to questions that will help you understand them better. The scene between these two must start of lighthearted / funny / happy and then shift to a sad or emotional ending (You may pick which you prefer). With this prompt we are looking for how you handle tone shifts, character development, and a general flow of dialogue.

For the second scene, you will need to write a descriptive paragraph(s) about the Alpha K headquarters. Below is another link, this one containing a picture of the compound. From the picture we ask you create an undertone following along the lines of mysterious, dreary, and ominous. Through this prompt we are looking for how you handle conveying a lot of pure information to the audience through detailed descriptions.

This role will be in charge of putting together the lines sent in by Voice Actors for the episode. They will also be asked to overlay sounds and music alongside the vocal recordings. We ask that those interested please send a portfolio of prior works, or an example that you believe accurately portrays your abilities.

This role will require the artist to create sound effects for scenes within the podcast. We ask that those interested to send in a portfolio of prior works if available, and complete the two prompts below.
1- Create the atmosphere of the listener being in a bustling police station. They are audibly following someone walking to their office, closing the door, and sitting in a chair at their desk.
2- Create the atmosphere of the listener being in the middle of a shoot-out between multiple people. The shoot-out is taking place on the street, with people from both sides hiding behind, in, and on top of buildings.

This role is in charge of creating music for the underlying track of the podcast. As scenes transition the music will help set the tone of the scene, and provide a clearer image for the listener of the atmosphere at that time. We ask that those interested to send in a portfolio of prior works if available, and complete the two prompts below. For both please create at least a twenty second clip of music.
1 - Music that could play in the background of a very intense, argument scene between characters.
2- Music that could play in the background of a scene where the listener is hearing the protagonist go through thoughts in their head by themselves (They can be walking, sitting, etc.).

Upon being cast for this role, we'd love to display your artwork and/or animations of the characters, and script throughout each episode. Though it is a podcast, visuals would allow for the audience to be immersed even further.
If interested please provide a portfolio of your work for us.
Also, we ask that you draw at least one of the two characters listed below, in a pose or action that you deem fit for the character. This task is for us to see how you handle being given descriptors, and details, then allowed to let your imagination run wild. However, if you'd like clarification, additional details, or to ask any more questions, please send a message to either my DM's, or the email provided in the intro.
