Hey everyone!
Thank you to everyone who has shown interest in ALMOST, INC. so far! I'm genuinely excited to see people interested in helping bring this project to life.
We're currently in the early development stage, working on auditions, character designs, and planning the pilot episode, The Door That Wasn't There.
Since this is an independent passion project, we're still figuring out the production process and what we can realistically accomplish with our current resources. The pilot's timeline and animation plans are still being worked out, so please be patient as we build the team.
I'll share more updates as things develop!
Thank you for being part of this journey. I'm excited to see where ALMOST, INC. goes!
— Project Creator, ALMOST, INC.
PS I'm a teen creator working on my first independent animated project, so I'm learning the production process as I go. Thanks for being patient with me while we build ALMOST, INC. together!
Hey guys, so the due date got extended to 11/19/2026 because we need time for people to audition.
Milo Reed is a curious, sarcastic 22-year-old who just landed a job at ALMOST, INC., a strange company that deals with things that almost happened. He's trying to figure out how his new workplace operates, but his curiosity keeps getting him into situations he was definitely not trained for.
Around 25–35 lines for the pilot episode. Must be able to deliver natural dialogue, comedic reactions, and believable nervousness as the mystery unfolds. Please submit clean audio recordings with minimal background noise. WAV preferred.
Okay, so nobody's gonna explain why there's a door in the wall that wasn't there five minutes ago?
I'm sorry—did that printer just threaten me? Because I'm pretty sure it just threatened me.
You finally made it? ...Wait. That voice sounds exactly like mine.
Patch is an exhausted, blunt supervisor at ALMOST, INC. who treats impossible supernatural events like ordinary workplace inconveniences. Dry humor, deadpan delivery, and strong comedic timing are essential. Around 15–25 lines for the pilot. Clean audio preferred. (AND IS A SUPERVISOR)
Welcome to ALMOST, INC. Don't touch anything, don't question the walls, and if you hear yourself talking from an empty room, tell me after lunch.
That's the third reality breach this week. I'm not even supposed to work Wednesdays.
The printer isn't haunted, Milo. It's just like that. ...Okay, fine, it's a little haunted.
June Park is a clever, confident 24-year-old field agent working for ALMOST, INC. She investigates strange incidents involving things that almost happened. She's brave, quick-thinking, and occasionally reckless, and she's seen enough bizarre situations that very little surprises her anymore.
Around 10–20 lines for the pilot episode. Looking for expressive character acting, confident delivery, natural conversational dialogue, and the ability to switch between humor and suspense. Clean audio recordings preferred; WAV is welcome but not required.
Milo, whatever you do, don't open that door. And before you ask, yes, that is a very specific instruction.
I've seen a hallway loop back into itself, a coffee machine predict the future, and a guy accidentally erase his own Tuesday. This? This is new.
Okay. Nobody panic. I'm going to panic privately, and then we're getting out of here.
Doodle is a living drawing that somehow came to life and now wanders around ALMOST, INC. They're playful, chaotic, unpredictable, and endlessly curious. Doodle often provides comic relief, but occasionally says something strangely insightful or unsettling without realizing it.
Around 5–15 lines for the pilot episode. Looking for expressive, energetic character acting, playful comedic timing, and the ability to deliver occasional creepy or mysterious lines. Clean audio preferred; WAV is welcome but not required.
HI, NEW PERSON! I drew you a picture! I don't know what it is, but it keeps screaming when I look at it!
Patch says I'm not allowed in the basement anymore. Which is weird, because the basement says I'm allowed.
Wait... if I'm a drawing, who's holding the pencil?
The Unfinished is a mysterious figure who appears inside ALMOST, INC. despite having no employee file, no assigned department, and no explanation for their existence. They speak politely and calmly, but something about them feels deeply wrong. They seem to know Milo Reed, even though Milo has never met them before.
A small number of lines in the pilot episode, with potential recurring appearances. Looking for subtle, controlled voice acting, an unnervingly calm delivery, and the ability to build suspense without shouting. Clean audio preferred; WAV is welcome but not required.
You finally made it. I've been waiting for you for a very long time.
Please don't open that door, Milo. The last time you did, you weren't the one who came back.
Oh... you don't remember me yet. That's all right. You will.
