All-Star Superman Comic Dub (More Roles Coming Soon)
Project Overview
Lex Luthor, the so-called "greatest criminal mind of all time", is foiled by Superman in his attempt to sabotage Dr. Leo Quintum and his team's exploration of the sun. Unbeknownst to Superman at the time, Luthor planned the hijacking in order to introduce a lethal amount of solar radiation into Superman's cells. Now with only one year left to live, Superman has to either find a way to save himself or find a way to protect Earth after he's dead. Because even when you're told there's no other option, like the man always says, "there's always another way."
I've always loved Superman. When I was younger, Superman TAS and Justice League were my favorite cartoon shows. These cartoons always portrayed Superman as a human, even though he's not of this world. After the Zack Snyder movies and Injustice games introduced a Superman who's seen as more god than man, I knew the world had forgotten the true meaning of the character. He's not a god or a tyrant. He's a man doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do. So in an attempt to reverse the bastardization of the Man of Steel, I will be directing a comic dub of my favorite comic book series. A story about perseverance and facing one's own mortality. The epitome of great Superman stories, "All-Star Superman."

Kal-El was sent to Earth as a baby from the dying planet of Krypton. After being found and adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent, the now-known Clark Kent went on to become a journalist for the Daily Planet in the city of Metropolis, as well as the earth's greatest defender: Superman. After Superman saves Dr. Quintum and his team from falling into the sun, he is told that the solar emissions his cells absorbed will kill him within a year. This revelation leaves Superman with two options: find a way to either save himself from his impending death or protect the earth once he's gone.
This role will either make or break the project, and I have a very specific vision of who I'd like to base the voice on. I don't mean to discourage you, but please, if you audition for this, bring your A-game.
[Dr. Quintum has just informed you of your impending death] (having a realization) I see it. Like tiny fireworks below my skin. At least this explains the weird bioelectric discharges. What a bizarre irony if the source of my powers winds up killing me, when everything else has failed.
[Now as Clark Kent, you are late to a meeting at the Daily Planet after saving a little girl as Superman. You run to Cheif Editor Perry White's office as fast as you can] (yelling) Hold the presses! [You awkwardly stumble around, dropping papers and cups of coffee until you end up on the floor of White's office. He asks you where you've been] (sheepishly) Uh... working on my suntan, chief?
[You're consoling a teenage girl about to commit suicide] Your doctor really did DID get held up, Regan. It's never as bad as it seems. You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me.
Superman's long-time love interest. She works at the Daily Planet alongside Clark Kent, but she has never been able to prove that Kent and Superman are the same person, despite numerous attempts to do so.
[Superman has just told you his secret identity] (in mild disbelief) Clark Kent? You've always been Clark Kent? Sorry, I just don't believe you, Superman.
[Superman has abandoned his old key to the Fortress of Solitude and has instead gotten a smaller one] That key can't be safe, Superman. Unless I'm witnessing another one of your "there's more to this than meet the eye" moments?
(Doubtful) Don't swear, because if you were Clark... If Clark Kent was secretly Superman or the other way around, whatever. If it was all a "ruse." That would mean you'd been lying to me for years, wouldn't it? So why confide in me now? After all this time?
Alexander "Lex" Luthor, is the billionaire owner of LexCorp. He's the archnemesis of Superman and a criminal mastermind. He's finally arrested and sent to prison after the attempted destruction of Doctor Quintum's expedition to the sun, which he used to overload Superman's cells in order to kill him.
[You are remotely controlling Dr. Quintum's spacecraft from Earth in order to crash it into the sun when General Lane walks into the room, demanding he learns what you are doing] Excuse me, general, I'm remote-controlling a weapon with a voice command sequence I designed. The signal takes nine minutes to reach the sun.
[You have pinned General Lane up against a wall to threaten him. You take this time to explain your diabolical plan to kill Superman] (frustrated) Three months ago, I looked in the mirror at those nasty little spiderwebs of lines around my eyes, and I realized something. I'm getting older and... and he isn't. So, if I want to die happy, it's time to get serious about killing Superman, don't you think?
[You have just succeeded in your attempt to kill Superman. He now only has a year to live until his irradiated cells overwhelm and destroy him. The police have arrived in your headquarters with a warrant for your arrest] (smug) Thank god. It's for my own good, I realize that. Put me away, boys. Before I do something REALLY terrible to Superman...
Doctor Quintum was the leader of the expedition to map the sun's surface. After Lex Luthor hijacks his Superman is exposed to lethal amounts of radiation in order to save it. He aids Superman in planning for what comes after his death.
[After Superman's new abilities begin to appear, you take him back to your lab in order to run tests. One of these tests includes examining how much weight Superman can lift] You're now pushing against the equivalent of 200 quintillion tons, Superman. I'd say your strength has tripled, at least, and we still haven't found an upper limit. You've manifested one new super-power, and others may appear. That's the good news.
[Superman's test results have come back. It's assumed that Superman is dying and now only has one year to live. You are now responsible for breaking the news to him] Your trip to the sun has exposed you to critical levels of stellar radiation, more raw energy than your cells are able to process efficiently. Apoptosis has begun. Cell death. There can be only one outcome, even for you.
[You go in-depth into the results of the tests. After realizing Luthor set you up in order to kill Superman, you feel incredibly guilty] Our own scan of your cells shows them super-saturated with solar radiation. Bursting from within. Superman... I'm so sorry. If I hadn't tried to steal fire from the sun, none of this would've happened. You risked everything to save my crew and me. But Luthor has used us to kill you.
An over-eager photographer for the Daily Planet. He's close friends with both Lois Lane and Clark Kent, as well as Superman's number one fan.
[Lois is asking everyone around the office if they know how big the sun is. You come by her desk to tell her] (excitedly) It's as big as 333,000 Earths! Imagine one hundred billion H bombs exploding in your face, Miss Lane... per SECOND. I looked it up on my super-watch.
[A giant monster is rampaging through Metropolis. You use your super-watch, a device Superman personally gave you in order to signal him if there's any danger. You look to the other two Daily Planet employees that are observing the crisis with you] Ms. Grant, Mr. Lombard, I'm taking immediate steps.
[You see Superman flying with another person] (puzzled) Looks like Superman wasn't the only one who heard my alarm signal...
I could use someone to help me with editing the panels together, as well as implement any dialogue clips or sound effects.

I need someone to help find sound effects and match them up with the panels.
