Alfred will have 3 modules (personalities) that will be unlocked through his quests. This module is his initial starting voice, which is meant to be (story-wise) damaged. The lore is that when Alfred meets the player his voice-box is damaged and thus he uses old dwemer radio files to communicate (similar to bumblebee from transformers.) I'll edit the voice dialogues to create the illusion of multiple voices and varying distortions, in order to allow the damaged voice module effect to sound natural.
Good Mooorning Blackreach! Today's forecast is glowing mushrooms with a chance of steam! In local news, 2snow elves have went missing after reportedly attacking their owners in Deep Folk Crossing. This incident has left 2 dead and 1 seriously injured.
The Semi-repaired module will be the voice that is unlocked once the player completes a certain quest for Alfred to help fix his voice. Alfred partially regains his voice, but it has created a slight problem. During the installation process, some of Alfred's bolts came loose, and as a result his personality has become slightly... unstable. Crazed, murder machine (similar to Glados.)

Having been fully repaired with the assistance of the player, Alfred is in his glory. His voice has been fixed, and most of the loose bolts have been taken care of. Now Alfred is the funny, witty dwemer butler you've always wanted.
