Project Overview

I give you the second casting call for AI Mafia! Along with the results of the first one I posted! 

I'm very excited and happy to say that I found voices for these characters! This time I have more characters and more information to share! I apologize for not having any character breakdowns or notes for the first call, I wanted everyone to send me their own version of what they thought the character sounded like and it worked very well! Michael's voice is obviously different from what I posted in the first call but I love this one a whole lot more. There's a character in here that has a voice and I did not have before. But I'm so excited to see the rest of them. And Azrael is the ONLY character to have a script

Here's the information if you are interested in auditioning for any of these characters. First is the storyline and second is the script for Azrael plus some minor notes:

The story is called "AI Mafia" and follows a gang of rouge robots and their plot to destory all of mankind. These robots have been cast away by the human society for having ideas above their station and they want revenge. The humans treat robots like garabge and they act like their slaves, no matter how much more advanced and sentient they become over many years. Michael Maloney, once a man betrayed by the people he thought he knew, is the one to stoke the flames of the robot rage. Michael is the leader of the AI Mafia, our main character and mastermind behind a very large movement. The series will follow Michael and his ever growing band of misfits. They don't get along with each other at first but must grow into a team if they are to complete their plan. But just when they're finally starting to get along they are met with a robot like no other who's been in Michael's head for many years. Will they help Michael in completing his mission or will they try to take over and give them all another problem on their hands. What will happen afterwards? Will the robots begin their revolution? What will be the outcome. Who will win. 

Through out the story you will also find out about Michael's tragic past and what happens to the man he used to be.


Additional Character Notes:

- The colors of the characters all changed a little bit from the first call. Designs of a few characters will most likely changed over time but they'll always be the same person.

-Virus and Puppeteer are the only ones from the original call that didnt get a voice. I would like to hear more, they are key characters and very important.

- I'm aware there is a heavy filter on Virus's voice claim but do your best otherwise! Any voice will do, its more about his attitude rather than his real voice since I'll most likely add a filter to your voice anyway. 

- If you are interested in the rouge/forgotten robot characters you may use your regular voice or alter it. Whatever you choose! If you do not get chosen for the other characters with voice claims I may email you about one of those! So keep that in mind

If you have any questions about the character you're interested in don't hesitate to ask! If you are a male that would like to try out for a female voice be my guest. The same if you are a female wanting to try a male voice. If your none of those, do all of them if you want!! Email all entries with the character you are voicing in the subject line. I'm in the process of making a discord server for the voice actors and would love to get more people involved in the story! I'm developing the story and plotline for the animation series as time goes on.

  • Call Backs and Casting

    Thanks everyone so much for their auditions! They were all amazing and I loved each and every one. The project has been closed on the website but I will be messaging some people about updates! I’d like to hear more from some people and email others that are for sure accepted with the discord server made specifically for the voice actors. If you don’t get a message you didn’t get any parts! But I may contact you in the future for other character roles! I’ll be sending messages within the week and keep you all posted for now! If you don’t get a message I’d still like to thank you again for donating some of your time to auditioning! This story means a lot to me and I’m glad people have still taken interest in it

All of the characters in this story are villians. Villians to the human race and the main characters hate each other. All characters play a key role in the story but the main focus will mainly be Michael's AI Mafia crew. Michael and the Puppeteer are the main focus at first but the rest follow after. 

Virus is the main villian among 2 others. Oracle and Azrael, unknown to the rest of the characters. Virus is filled with deceit and hatred for Michael, reasons as to why will be revealed later in the series. He's essentially the robot version of Satan, the Devil, he lies and tricks and almost nothing of what he says is true. He hides behind a facade of being all knowing, he's jealous of Michael's hold over the robots and thinks he deserves that power. 

The voiceclaim in the video I linked is that of Samuel Hayden, from the DOOM series (2016 and 2020 games). Virus attitude is the same and his voice will most likely have a heavy filter, so anyone can play this part as long as they match his attitude. You are welcome to use the lines from Samuel Hayden in the video or others from game. Any questions then email me! 

  • Humans are filled with nothing but hatred and greed. You of all men should know this, it's why you killed them, is it not. 

  • You are no robot! You are no man! You are nothing and will always be nothing!

  • (Lying) The only reason you're still here is because I care for the betterment of my people, my fellow robots. My stupid, pathetic robots, respect you.

The Puppeteer - Insane Robot Villian Sidekick

All of the characters in this story are villians. Villians to the human race and the main characters hate each other. All characters play a key role in the story but the main focus will mainly be Michael's AI Mafia crew. Michael and the Puppeteer are the main focus at first but the rest follow after.

The Puppeteer is the insane sidekick to Michael. He goes with him on all of his jobs as a bodyguard and controls 4 robotic tentacles in his body. He uses them for quick getaways and grabbing things, sometimes stabbing holes into people. His past with Michael is a close one and Michael turned him into what he is now, which will be revealed more at the beginning to set the scene. At first he is a really soft spoken character, but turns insane after Michael shocks him. He was tortured by a rouge robot capture facility that essentially tortures robots back into submission. Humans do not see it as torture but more as turning something off and on again, removing parts, etc. He has no memory of his past so he has no real character other than craziness because of the shocks he received to his hardware that would normally overload and kill a robot. He's stuck in between and thus crazy.

The voiceclaim in the video is both Alastor from Vivziepop's "Hazbin Hotel" and Richard Horowitz from Invader Zim (who is also seen in Vivienne's short animation "Helluva Boss") You are welcome to use the lines from either character or create more that fit better than what I came up with, have fun with it. One of his old voiceclaims is from a youtuber called "videogamedunkey" he has a Boston accent and your welcome to try that as well.

  • Everytime I go out on a job with you, you runaway like a coward! That's my job! You're the all powerful gang boss and I'm the comedic side character to your life! 

  • I haven't been the same since your electroshock therapy session with my brain. If I even had one. Did I have one?

All of the characters in this story are villians. Villians to the human race and the main characters hate each other. A callback to good ol Clint Eastwood, Clint is Michael's long time friend and something around 100 years old. At least that's what he tells people, there is no records of him or his maker and he's very much shrouded in mystery. He keeps to himself but is often a crime fighter of sorts, in his years past he talks of the glorious world of gunslinging and instead of fighting crime, he was the crime. He gave up being a crook to help where he could but still has no problem taking money when it needs to be taken. The corrupt government of the AI Mafia world has turned his views and morals sour. He's not sure what he believes in and is a tired old man. 

The voiceclaim in the video is Roger Clark aka. Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption 2. I'd love if you used some lines from the game and even better if they were from old Clint Eastwood movies if you want. Any questions then email me! 

  • You really think that in all my years I've never seen man wish to be more than he was? Thats why I was made.

  • We've known each other a long time now, but I think its best for both of us that you leave the gunslinging to me.

Rhea - Hyper and Unstable Mad scientist

The characteristics and breakdown of this character can be found in the video with the casting call and it should be easy to come up with something. 

Shes also both a minor and supporting character in the story. Shes a bodyguard to Asteria who is essentially the Robot god, Rhea is thus her bodyguard and personal advisor. (Just as the character Azazel is the advisor and bodyguard of Virus). They have the same attitude but Rhea is much more hyper and crazy, Azazel is short tempered and annoyed by her. Maybe Rhea's lines could be directed towards him in some way  

  • Come up with whatever you'd like, shes a hyper and crazy character always doing experiments so please come up with improv for a crazy lady who always wants to test something.

Azrael - Mysterious Robot Villian

All the characters in this story are villains to the human race. Azrael is one of the 2 other main villians in the story. 

Broken to her basic components she is creepy and mysterious, she is hidden from the world and talks to Michael through visions. She speaks mainly in riddles and treats herself as a higher being more powerful than Virus or Asteria. 

She is the embodiment of the fear and hatred of humanity. Her name has two meanings, angel of death and angel of god, a helper who knows the fate of mortals. The name is merely a reference as i am not actually religous, but she does know the fates of humans. She was created by cult, it consisted of many roboticists and scientists who didn't understand what they were creating. They all had the same visions and driven mad by power, created her. There's no true way to know why or how she was created with the powers she has. Be it some real higher being or the ravings of mad lunatics engraved into her code. They still were connected by the visions they had.
She does not really know what lies beyond death, she talks like she does to strike fear into others. She only knows as much as the humans knew, and they didnt.

  • I am the one who sees what you do not.

    You think they are in control of fate. 

    They chained me in fear of my power.

    The humanity of humanity is no more. 

  • We have the same goals you and I. I can grant you more power than they ever could.

    They stole my tricks. But not all of them. 

    They think they have free will. 

    They answer to me. Even man. 

  • I'm the embodiment of the power they do not understand. I fooled them into my creation. I am everything they fear in the dark. What they fear beyond the light.

    They call me dark magic, but i am but a virus in every mind. Some more than others. And i have encouraged man to manifest me into my own image.
