After Graduation follows Perrin (an anthropomorphic dog, drummer) and Seren (an anthropomorphic rabbit, vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist) as they chase their dream of breaking into the music scene right after finishing high school in 1998. To find inspiration for their songs, the duo set out on adventures—wandering new towns, meeting eccentric locals, and getting into trouble that often spirals out of control. What starts as fun escapism always brings them face-to-face with the reality of the industry: rejection, exploitation, rivalries, and the grind of trying to be heard.
At its heart, the show balances youthful optimism with the bittersweet truth of chasing creative dreams. Perrin and Seren’s relationship grounds the story, showing both the joy of shared passion and the strain of fighting for a place in an unforgiving world.
Tone & Style:
Slice-of-life meets road-adventure, with a strong focus on music-driven storytelling.
Lighthearted, quirky moments contrasted with raw, grounded looks at ambition, failure, and perseverance.
Think Scott Pilgrim’s energy mixed with the grit of Almost Famous, set in the late-90s indie/alt rock scene.

Perrin Farrow is in a warm mid-to-lower male register, smooth with a hint of rasp when emotional. He speaks with a laid-back, boy-next-door quality, but very shy, often thoughtful or hesitant, but sharp and sarcastic when pushed. His tone softens into sincerity with Seren, carrying both quiet vulnerability and bursts of youthful excitement. He has a neutral Canadian accent, sometimes mumbling when embarrassed. Think a mix of Logan Lerman’s sincerity and Topher Grace’s dry bite.
