"Adelaide & Others" is a teen slice-of-life coming-of-age drama/comedy webcomic about a 14-year-old poodle and her group of friends. Dealing with growing up, friendships, family, self-identity, sexuality, loss, middle school, and shopping malls in the suburbs. Learning that no matter what happens, you're not alone. Others will always be there for you.
This is a casting call for a full dub of "Episode 1: My Favorite, Too" of the webcomic. All the pages have been published and completed. The only thing you would need to do is read over the lines.

Sadly, recently both Adelaide and Lily's VAs dropped out for personal reasons. Both of the roles are open. Currently the project is still being made, and I'm grateful for all the other VAs that have been able to turn in their lines until now.
Previous auditions will be reviewed. Anyone with matching voice descriptions is more than welcome to audition.

Adelaide is a 14-year-old poodle with an upbeat and optimistic personality. Her hobbies include biking and breakdancing. While her intentions are often in the right place, she can be very clumsy and irresponsible. Adelaide is very social and enjoys hanging out with her friends, especially Lily. Lily has been her best friend since 3rd grade.
(happy, excited) Hey, Lily! How's it been? Ya ready to get working? I sure hope so! It's gonna be a great day!
(nervous, surprised) Oh! Um, hello, Ms. Chang. I didn't see ya there. Heh...
(sad, disappointed) I'm trying my best, okay...
Lily is a 14-year-old panda with a introverted, soft-spoken, anxious, and passive personality. Unlike Adelaide, Lily is often focused on her school work and education.
Sorry, I'm somewhat busy today. I have to finish my Honors Prealgrebra homework. Then, I have piano practice.
(nervous, surpised) Oh! H- Hey, Adelaide! What are you doing here?
(happy) I guess you could... You're my favorite.
Kiara is Adelaide's mom. She has a sassy (somewhat sarcastic) personality, but she's not mean.
(tired at first, then humorous) Oh, Adelaide. What am I gonna do with you?
Adelaide, you better be home by five, young lady.
(angry) EXCUSE ME?! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!
Jacques is Adelaide's dad. He has a mostly happy personality, preferring to see the brighter side of things, even with a tired adult perspective.
(happy) Hey, Addy! Oh, how was school, today?
(disappointed but understanding) Listen, things have been tough for us, lately. But hey! At least we still have a roof.
(humorous, comedic) What could happen? Are you getting kidnapped by aliens? (serious) Because that would be no joke.
Sarah is Lily's mom. She has a very stoic, stern, and strict personality (with a secret soft, vulnerable side she hides). Often showing a lot of control and authority over Lily and her life. She has high expectations for her daughter, but understands that Lily also needs friends to socialize.
Her husband, Nathaniel, is the only one that can really bring out her more vulnerable side.
Lily, you must finish your homework, first. Meeting up with your friends is enjoyable in the moment, but your education is your future.

Nathaniel is Lily's dad. Compared to his wife, Nathaniel is more soft-spoken and easy-going. He might often appear tired. He also has high expectations for his daughter, but often worries that schoolwork would drive her mad. Thus, he invites Adelaide over, occasionally.
