Project Overview
Film Synopsis:
In the Sulfur mines of Jupiter’s moon Io, a young Jovian mechanic struggles to provide for his family. Lured by the promises of a better future offered by the Martian Republic, he enlists in the Martian military to fight in the ongoing Sol War on Earth. But, as the cruel reality of the war unfolds, he begins to question the cost of his choices and the promises that brought him there.
Requirements:
Preferably 18+ voice actors, since the film has violent content.
Discord is required for communication.
A high quality microphone.

Ad Gloriam is a short film (roughly 25 minutes) set in the Awoken universe - SI's original science fiction universe! Written and directed by Meesha.
The film will follow a similar filming and design style as Awoken Season 1!
This film is rated ‘Very Insulting’ under the Slightly Insulting rating guidelines. There is violent content and dark war themes.
More information on the roles and script will be shared with voice actors after casting.
I’ll (Meesha) be offering live directing to voice actors that are interested, but this isn’t compulsory. If you want to record in your own time that is perfectly fine!

Personality & Backstory:
Sia is a young Jovian recruit who is energetic, confident and laid-back. Despite having a rough time on Europa and struggling with a drug addiction, she eventually joined the Martian military for something more exciting and purposeful. She doesn’t shy away from speaking her mind and enjoys being playful with those close to her.
Note: Please keep in mind that we’ll need some sound effects for Sia for fight scenes. Lines will be recorded before animating, and sound effects will be dubbed over the footage afterwards. Sia has one cursing line.
