📖 PROJECT OVERVIEW

In an empire where power is inherited through sacred sigils, the future rulers of the Five Great Houses are sent to Eldros Imperial Academy to compete for influence, status, and the right to shape the kingdom's future. Rhaenelle Ardenthal was never supposed to belong there. Labeled an embarrassment to her family and denied the sigil that should have secured her place among the heirs, she spends her life chasing approval that never comes. When her pursuit of power ends in tragedy, she discovers that her past may not be what it seems. Given a second chance, Rhaenelle returns to the academy determined to uncover what was taken from her. As hidden records vanish, powerful nobles guard dangerous secrets, and old loyalties begin to crack, Rhaenelle becomes entangled with both the empire's future crown prince and a rebellious serpent heir. What begins as a search for the truth becomes a battle over identity, inheritance, and the future of the empire itself.

This project balances mystery, romance, and character-driven storytelling, so strong emotional range is highly valued. Characters experience everything from quiet vulnerability and playful banter to grief, anger, and high-stakes confrontations.

Whether you're auditioning for a lead role or a supporting character, I want performances that feel genuine and grounded rather than overly exaggerated.

While roles are currently unpaid, I provide:

I'm hoping to build a small team of people who genuinely love storytelling and want to create something special together. Whether you're an artist, voice actor, writer, or editor, I'd love to work with passionate and creative people who enjoy bringing characters and stories to life. This project is currently unpaid, but if the series grows and future paid opportunities become available, team members who have been dedicated and involved from the beginning will be considered first.

More than anything, I want Academy of Heirs to be a fun and supportive project where everyone feels appreciated, can develop their skills, and takes pride in what we create together.

  • ⚜️ Academy of Heirs Casting Update ⚜️

    Due to interest in the project, I've decided to extend the application deadline for Voice Actors, Writers, Artists, and Animators!

    I've also added voice claims for each character to the casting document. Feel free to use them as inspiration when auditioning, but please don't feel like you need to sound exactly the same. They're simply there to help convey the character's personality and overall vibe. :)

    If you've already submitted an audition and feel your performance is very different from the provided voice claims, you're more than welcome to resubmit with a new take.

    I've also received a few questions regarding Writer and Artist applications:

    ✦ Artists: The workload is intentionally very flexible. Artists will only be expected to create around 2–3 Gacha artworks or 1 semi-anime illustration throughout production. I understand that art takes a long time and burnout is real, so contributions will be planned with flexibility in mind.

    ✦ Writers: To apply, simply provide any previous writing experience you may have and a sample of a story, script, or piece of writing you've created. It doesn't need to be professional. I'm mainly looking to get a feel for your storytelling style.
