A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION - VOICE ACTORS NEEDED
WHAT IS THIS PROJECT?
This is a quest mod that comes packed with an interesting and alluring backstory, a wide variation in enemies, unique NPC's, and detailed, well-constructed environments.
A message is being sent across the Mojave, a desperate plea for assistance. Go on a quest to undercover the secrets of a facility that has been viciously attacked by an unknown force. Who or what is this force? Who are the victims? When you learn the truth, what will you do? Regardless of all this, the end result will result in an impact on the Mojave, and potentially, humanity as a whole.
MY ROLE IN THIS
This is a mod project originally made by Kazopert. He offered me to open up a casting call for the project. I found the project interesting, so I took him up on his offer.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN THIS?
I am looking for 10+ actors who are willing to bring the cast of this project to life. The cast is wide and varied, and will need a strong cast of voice actors to deliver the lines.
I am not super picky about microphone quality, but would prefer if the mic being used is at least around the range of a Blue Yeti.
PAYMENT
Payments will be sent in full on the very day you're cast for a role. I would strongly prefer using Paypal as a means of transaction, but if otherwise, we can discuss alternate ways of payments. If you prefer being paid afterwards, we can arrange that as well.
INSTRUCTIONS
If you are cast for a role, you will receive a script through Gmail or CCC DMs with recording instructions, deadline, accent specifications, character bios, and line directions. If you want to discuss alternate ways of communication, we can do that through CCC DMs.
For all characters, I expect lines to be sent back following the correct organization.
You should be recording through an audio recording software like Audacity or Adobe Audition. You should export and submit your audition as a .wav audio file with the settings of 44.1 kHz, 16 bits, and mono recording format. I would also like all lines to be separated
I will open more roles over time. If you are not cast for a role, don't be discouraged to audition for another one. If you're already cast for a role and want to audition for another one - you can do so.

This is the expected deadline, but as always with these types of things, it can be postponed to a later date.

James Turner is a private in the Sharkfin platoon of the E.I.E. He was sent by his superiors to do reconnaissance for their operation.

[You see an unauthorized citizen walking in your area.] [You stop them]
(Militant) (Shout) Hold it right there!
I don't know who you are or how you got in here, but you better start talking, fast!
[Persons says they're here to kill you and your fellow teammates]
(Shout) (Angry) Oh, it's on!
(Shout) (Angry) What? Oh, now it's on!
(Shout) (Angry) You bastard! I won't let you get to them!
[Person asks why you and your team would kill civilians]
(Rationalizing) Look, everyone in there - even if they had good intentions - were tampering with things they shouldn't have been.
Do I have remorse? Yes. What kind of soldier doesn't have remorse about killing civilians? I just do my job, as grim as it sounds.
[Person says that one of your targets is alive]
(Taken back) (Eyebrows raised) What? Someone was still alive down there? Where are they now?
[Person says they have decided not to help you, even though you just answered a bunch of their questions]
(Annoyed) What? You make me answer these questions for you and you say no? You know what - Fine.
[COMBAT GRUNTS]

PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
No, not the singer.
Mrs. Lopez is one of the few scientists who survived the attack by the E.I.E. She and Jack Vernon were the heads of a top-secret operation to find a cure for radiation. The methods they used to research solutions were... unethical. She is an intelligent lady, and can often be cold.

She is someone who has had experience in the industry of Science. As such, she should sound intelligent, analytical, observant, etc.
[You're injured] [You see someone coming your way]
(Eyes squinting) (Dizzy due to blood loss) W... What? Who are you? How did you even get in here?
[Person heals you of your fatal wounds]
(Gaining consciousness) (Thankful) My God, you saved my life. I thought it was all over for a second there, thank you.
[Person asks who your murderers were]
(Bleeding out) (Dying) Look, do I look like I'm in a position to keep answering questions, I... I...
Oh god, I feel like I'm going to pass out...
[You see the person who saved you from death]
And look who it is, my savior. I'd ask what you're doing here, but it's fairly obvious, isn't it?
(Shocked) (Furious) I... Wait a second, is that the subject? Did you kill the subject?!
(Shocked) (Furious) All this effort down the drain because of some brain-dead ape!
[You order your guards to attack]
(Shouts) (Giving an order) Guards! Kill these pests!
[Person says if you leave, you won't get hurt]
Just go? (Scoffs) I'm sorry, but that just isn't possible, I've come here for a reason, and I won't leave until I've satisfied that reason.
[DEATH SOUNDS]

Robert Barker is the medic for a squad of soldiers sent by the E.I.E to exterminate a group of scientists who were using unethical methods of research. He is usually trusting of the E.I.E's ideals, but this opp has made him question his loyalty to the organization.

(Taken back) My name? I'm surprised you even asked. Well, my name is Robert Barker. And uh, thanks for asking.
Oh, and if you need any healing if you're injured, just ask me. Well, as long as you have 50 caps on you, I have to make a living you know.
[Person asks your thoughts on a touchy and personal subject] [You'd rather not tell and let them know as such]
(Defensive) I do mind you asking. It's something I rather not discuss.
[Person convinces you to tell] [Monologue]

The mission was a disaster, it was supposed to be a simple "Exterminate the bad guys" type-mission, but it wasn't.
Me and what's left of our team killed people.... not just people, but innocent ones. People who were just trying to make the world a better place.
Their methods may have been questionable, but their end goal wasn't.
Usually, when a threat isn't massively dangerous, we'd report them to another authority who in turn would arrest them. I don't know what went wrong...

Joseph Grain is the heavy of a squad sent by E.I.E to exterminate a group of shady scientists working on an unethical project. He doesn't really care about morals or what is right and wrong. He's just there to get the job done and protect his fellow soldiers.

(Furious) (Shout) You bastard! Guys, we got trouble over here!
[Person asks for your name]
(Puzzled) My name? I don't see why that's important to you.
But, seeing as you're working with us now, I guess I'll say tell you. I'm Joseph Grain.
[Person asks for your thoughts on the mission]
Look, I'm just a soldier doing my job. If a few civvies get hurt... well, it is what it is. As long as I've got a mission to do, I'll do it, no questions asked, no fuss.

Emily Park is an engie for a squad sent by E.I.E to exterminate a group of shady scientists working on an unethical project. She had a very dark past, being apart of a raider gang at one point in her life. All of that is behind her now, as she now fights for something that she truly believes in.

Me specifically? I keep the weapons of the soldiers here up and running, as well as trying to get this ancient satellite working.
If you're talking about us as a whole, I can't talk about that, you'd have to ask the lieutenant.
[Person asks about your past]
Oh yeah, I was in one of the raider gangs in the Capital Wasteland over 7 years ago now, the E.I.E picked me up on one of their scouting missions.
I was near death because of dehydration. They didn't seem to care I was a raider and saw something in me I didn't. So they took me in.
So here I am, serving as a soldier for the E.I.E.
[COMBAT GRUNTS]

He should sound like a soldier. Not just any soldier, but one who leads of platoon of men and has a voice that commands respect.
[Person says they got the job done, but one of your of men died in the process]
(Angry) What?! Robert's dead? Goddamnit!

[Person says they're gonna hear your target out] [You allow them because they've been helpful in your mission]
(Cautious) (Keeping one eye open) Fine. I'm only allowing this because you've been helpful to our mission. (Threatening) But if I hear anything about you siding with them, you're dead.
[Person won't let you complete your mission]
(Defiant) What? We've come here to complete our mission and that's what we're going to do!
Maybe you're not getting it. Our mission is to erase everything that has to do with this sick project.
I understand what you're trying to do, but this cannot end peacefully. If you're going to stand in our way, we will take you down.
[Person agrees with you on exterminating the target]
(Laughs) I like your style. Let's do this!
[Person asks about the organization you work for]
The E.I.E? Well, it's short for "Expunging Impure Elements", we're a military organization that exterminates or deals with groups that are hostile to humanity.
Modifying the foundations of humanity and experimenting with people are things we stand against. Although, Ghouls and Super Mutants are exempt.
PERSONALITY & BACKGROUND:
Jack Vernon is the lead scientist of an operation to find a cure for radiation sickness. He is cold, blunt, and will get what he wants through whatever means necessary.

[You see the person towering over the dead body of your test subject]
Who are you? What are you doing here? Wait... Is that the subject?

[Person says they're not gonna let you take the test subject]
(Defiant) (Mad) We've trekked halfway across fucking Nevada to get here. I'm not going to leave without getting what I came for.
[Person says they're here to rescue the test subject]
(Angry) You ignorant fool...
Save it from us? We were working tirelessly on this subject for a greater cause! One that you can barely fucking comprehend!
(You see unfamiliar people coming up to you) What the... Who's that!?
[Person says that you will have to kill them to get the test subject]
(Disappointed, but not suprised) (Angry) You're not only stupid, but you're suicidal as well. Very well then...
[Person helps you recover the test subject]
(Grateful) Thank you for your assistance. As agreed, here are your caps.
I'll be taking the subject now. (Talking to the subject) Now you, hold still whilst I administer the solution to you. We need you alive when we get back to our destination.

Max Jones is the only test subject who survived the attack by the E.I.E. He is now in hiding. He was tested on by a rogue group of scientists and now holds a special immunity to radiation.

[You see a shadowy figure coming towards you] [ You think it's your captors coming back for you]

(Shout) (Scared) (Skin white)What? Please! No!
[Person massacred the people who were coming after you in cold blood]

[Person asks about what went on when you were being tested on]
(Flashback) (Remembers vividly) (Skin white) (Eye twitching) They did things to me... terrible things - prodded me, injected me, cut me open. It... It was horrible.
[Person says they're here to save you]
(Relieved) Y... You haven't? You mean, you haven't come here to take me back to the labs?
