Joseph Grain is the heavy of a squad sent by E.I.E to exterminate a group of shady scientists working on an unethical project. He doesn't really care about morals or what is right and wrong. He's just there to get the job done and protect his fellow soldiers.

He should sound like a soldier. A bit grunt-ish, as well.
[You see a non-member of your squad in the facility]
(Assertive) Now hold on a damn second! How did you get down here?
(Threatening) Well? You'd better answer me... unless you want to be sprayed down with hot, 5-millimeter lead.
[Person says they're just leaving]
(Assertive) (Threatening) Oh no no no, you're *going* to explain what you're doing here - don't test my patience.
[Person says they're here to kill you]
(Furious) (Shout) You bastard! Guys, we got trouble over here![Person asks for your name]
(Puzzled) My name? I don't see why that's important to you.
But, seeing as you're working with us now, I guess I'll say tell you. I'm Joseph Grain.
[Person asks for your thoughts on the mission]
Look, I'm just a soldier doing my job. If a few civvies get hurt... well, it is what it is. As long as I've got a mission to do, I'll do it, no questions asked, no fuss.
