Little is known about him; except for he is a 34-year-old café owner, who runs a small, but at-large coffee shop at Covehill Bay, along with his wife, who helps him run it. Jaidal and his friends often come there. Like Ravi, he is a God-fearing man, and a good cook that likes making dishes from scratch, that he even invents his own. Raymond assists Jaidal with some important details, he could find, as he lived in some areas of Covehill Bay. Raymond has an older sister named Jacqueline who is in the police force. His full name is Raymond J. Raymond, but Jaidal and his friends call him Mr. Raymond instead (which he doesn’t seem to mind).

An elderly but active evangelical pastor, who started his ministry at a young age. Higgins at times travels the world as a missionary, but mostly stays in the US.

A very bitter woman who turns out to be Courtney's highschool bully. Melinda never liked to see Courtney's face around at anytime (despite Coutney being nice to her), and hates her with passion. Additionally, Melinda always seeks to get her own way; but always fails to do so. She hates being called by her full name, as she prefers being called Linda.

Jordan’s father, who works in the police force. Héctor is majorly not around because of the nature of the job.

A 25-year-old Ukrainian choir member of Unito. Rachel was born in the city of Donetsk, Ukraine. She was born in the church, and thus accepted Christ at a tender age. At the age of 7, when going on a summer vacation with her parents, a group of suspicious men raided the hotel she was staying, killed some people including her parents, and kidnapped her. Rachel was first sent to Odessa, then several other places across the globe from there. At 12 years old, she escaped from her traffickers but was then recaptured. However, on her second attempt, Rachel makes a getaway with Reuben and the others. Rachel speaks Ukrainian and English.

Tobyas' wife.

A politely arrogant prosecutor who seems to hate Rebecca; in any court case, he always seeks to humiliate her by all means.

A middle-aged woman who owns a warehouse in Covehill Bay. She seems to hate children for unknown reasons.

The owner of Holland Corp. His first name is not mentioned.

A teenage boy whose father is a policeman in New Belmont City. His last name is not mentioned.

A 27-year-old French choir member of Unito. Francis lost his parents at the age of 5, via a car accident. and thus was put into an orphanage. He was "adopted" at the age of 7 by a mysterious man, who did nothing but exploited him afterwards. The man then decided to sell Francis to another taskmaster for €10, who then put him into child labour on a shoe factory. Francis lived in a secular environment, where the Gospel is either forbidden or mocked. He heard about it at the age of 10 or 12; though very skeptical at first, but he eventually opened his heart to Jesus Christ. Francis was then sold for €30 to ship him to another location; there he befriends Reuben and 9 other victims. Francis speaks French and a bit of English.

A hardworking no-nonsense secretary at Holland Corp.

Little is known about her except that she was reported missing at the age of 17.

A 45-year-old devout pastor at one of the mega churches in New Belmont City. Nelson is among the few of those who preach the sound Gospel.

Although his actual name isn't revealed, he evidently serves as a clerk at Covehill Bay's Superior Court, on the Criminal Justice Department.

Chloe's father.

A nervous worker for Amy Taylor at Food-ons. His first name is revealed to be Eric.

Owen's faithful wife.

A jobless thief trying to make ends meet. He and his wife Kate, were bribed into criminal activities by a notorious criminal. Jeremy's last name is not mentioned.

A worker at Techno-Electro. Bernie was killed in cold blood during a night robbery.

A worker at Techno-Electro and Bernie's colleague. Wallie was falsely arrested for killing Bernie and robbing the store.

The handsome man in question may look like a nice, decent guy, but he has a very wicked personality. He was also hired by Mr Clive, which was years before the current principal (Kellewyn Rebecca Ramirez) took over the office. Jefferson has something against Christians (more especially Jaidal), but nobody seems to know why. His first name is Haman.

A notorious mobster who is in charge of over mob gangs in Cape Copperfield alone.

A notorious criminal who blackmails people into doing his bidding.

A rich and power-hungry polygamist from the state of Utah. Though 3 times richer than Mr. Holland, Maxwell is extremely jealous of his wealth.

A 40 year old bitter man who hates the Gospel and anything related to the birth of Jesus Christ.

An assistant worker at Food-ons. Muniz has no family, and was the only child of his parents, who died when he was 24.

A middle-aged man who lives in Portson, New Belmont. He can ebe very strict as he doesn't tolerate intruders or criminals.

A fervent evangelical pastor from Nigeria who sometimes comes over to New Belmont.

An Latino ex-convict who later became a born-again Christian.

A 34-year-old worship singer from Phoenix, Arizona. Personality-wise, he is calm, cool-headed and devout. Before he knew the Lord, he used to be very stubborn from childhood. Amos started smoking at the age of 11, and lived a very reckless lifestyle; it worsened when his father died of ecstasy at the age of 15, so much so, that he additionally got into binge drinking, recreational drugs, robberies, and other immoral and sinful acts; on a few occcasions, he almost took his own life. And sometimes, he got into fights till somebody either faints or dies. However, on Christmas Eve, Amos gave his life to Jesus, and has abandoned the flamboyant lifestyle for good.

A 27-year-old man, and lead singer of Unito. Reuben was born in a place in the United Arab Emirates, where his parents are strict Muslims. He was abducted by some traffickers at the age of 10 when he was going on an errand; from one taskmaster to another, Reuben was sold and severely beaten by them. While still in captivity, Reuben nearly took his own life more than once, as he couldn't bear the torment. He knew that there was a God watching him, but he didn't believe the Koran. While staying at a train station in Iran at 15 on his way to Benin City, Nigeria, a group of missionaries came to preach the Gospel; after hearing it, Reuben gave his life to Christ. Seeing his resistant behavior, the abductees shipped him to Syria instead. Two years later, he was put in a travel truck to relocate him to a different area; there he met Yul, Rachel, Francis, Matthew, Francine, Lorenzo, Cincilla, Abel, George and Stefan. They all share two things in common despite their diverse nationalities: music and faith in Christ. He and the group escape from the ring to New Belmont City. Reuben speaks English (partially thought by his father) and Arabic.

A 30-year-old Nigerian choir member of Unito. Yul was born in a city in western Nigeria (Benin City, Edo State) where it is well known for trafficking children. He was attending school until the age of 12; his parents could not afford the school fees at that period of time. The traffickers that took him at the age of 13, deceived his parents by posing as education ministers promising him of a better life, when all they did was put him into forced labour and forced military service. Yul was a theist at the time, but wasn't truly born-again until he heard the real Gospel. The cotton mill he once worked in Egypt was set on fire; though some people died in blaze, the rest escaped including him. He was however recaptured by some other traffickers to relocate him to a different area. There he became friends with Reuben and 9 others. Yul speaks English and Igbo.

A 35-year-old New York choir member of Unito. Matthew comes from a wealthy Christian family, where he is provided with the best education any child could have; his uncle Ahab however, although averagely stable, is very jealous of his father's wealth. One day, as his parents traveled overseas, Matthew was put under his uncle's care (not knowing that he was a scammer). Ahab picks him up from school as usual, but stops at an abandoned area, where some human traders captured him without notice; Matthew felt very betrayed having found out that Ahab had sold him to their hands. Matthew was put into involuntary domestic servitude, receiving little to no food or pay, denied the right to education, and badly exploited. While in captivity, Matthew was gradually losing his faith in God, to the point he nearly drank poison to take his own life; God however, hindered him from doing so. Finally realizing that God hasn't abandoned him, Matthew's faith was back on track. One of the household members accused Matthew of stealing; Matthew was put in prison, but what bailed out by another trader who took him hostage to another location. During the relocation, he met Reuben and other victims.

A 33-year-old Korean-Canadian choir member of Unito. Born Go Eun, her parents migrated from North Korea to Canada when she was 3 years old; they didn't know any other language save Korean. Two years, while staying in Toronto, they one day take a taxi to their home; but on their way their way there, the entire family was drugged to sleep via chloroform. From there, the traffickers (one of which was disguised as a taxi driver) abduct Francine before her parents would wake up to realize she was stolen. While in the trafficking ring, a female missionary came over to give all the brothel workers food and water; while sharing the Gospel, some of them gave their lives to Christ. Seeing the changes in some of them, she too decided to become a Christian. Her trafficker saw the change in Francine and tried all means to make her succumb, but failed. Angry at her refusals, he knocks her out cold, and dumps Francine in the bushes to be left for dead; however, she survives. As she wanders around the country, a seemingly 'nice' guy picks her up, only to load her into a truck for transfer. While on the road, she meets Reuben and other victims. After escaping with them to New Belmont City, she changed her name to Francine.

A 25-year-old Italian choir member of Unito. Lorenzo was born in Italy's capital Rome; living with an Evangelical family of 7, Lorenzo is the second youngest of the family; he gave his life to Christ at 5. When going on a holiday with his family to Switzerland, some traffickers disguised as resort workers, lured him and a couple of other children to a supposed ice-cream truck, not knowing that they were going to be trafficked until they saw some other children and teenagers crying bitterly inside the very truck. Lorenzo was forced into street-fighting, but when business was down, he was sold to forced labor. Some years after, Lorenzo was place to relocation, there he met Reuben and other fellow Christians and victims. Lorenzo speaks Italian and English.

A 24-year-old Filipino choir member of Unito. Cincilla was born in a Christian family in the Philippines; her father was a missionary, and her mother was a Sunday School teacher. Cincilla gave her life to Christ at a very young age. One day, some notorious gangs began to raid certain homes, including Cincilla's; they stormed into her house, and forced Cincilla out of her home. Her parents did all they could to protect their daughter, but they were stabbed to death for doing so. They had taken her to a prostitution ring; a supposed "customer" picked her up, but she eventually escaped before they arrive at an unknown destination. After 2 days of wondering around the country, she was recaptured again. But despite the torturing situation, she still trusted God to deliver her. Cincilla was bullied by other prostitutes who result to beating her, leaving scars and bruises on her face. As "customers" assume she is having rashes, the ring released her. After the release, she tried to get back life back together by getting a job, not knowing that she landed herself into debt bondage. Cincilla was put into one of the trafficking vans, where she then met Reuben and the rest of the group. Cincilla speaks Filipino, English, and a little Spanish.

A 23-year-old Mexican choir member of Unito, and the youngest among the group. Abel came from a poor Protestant family; his father left him and the rest of the family when he was very young. Abel had to work day and night to support her gravely-ill mother. Abel had two older brothers, and he is the youngest of the family. One day, when going with his brothers to a field to play soccer, a group of gangs lead by a mysterious woman raid the field and capture Abel and a few other children in the process. His brothers tried to rescue him, but they were shot dead. Abel was 4-5 years old at the time. He worked in a child labor factory, where the sector's overseer disliked him and a few the least, that he/she whips him for no reason, and often calls Abel names and accuses him of laziness, despite him making them most of the money. On his 14th birthday, Abel gave his life to Christ, amid threatening from his overseer, who then transferred him to another location via a truck (where Reuben and the rest are placed in). At the age of 15, Abel escapes with Reuben and the rest of Unito to New Belmont City. Abel is fluent at Spanish, but very little in English.

Little is known about him, except that Andrew’s younger brother who lives in a different county in New Belmont.

A Nigerian-British police officer in residing Corey Springs, New Belmont, who sometimes comes over to Covehill Bay and other counties for emergencies. Samuel later got promoted to a detective.

One of Jackie's two friends.

A 35-year-old obese mechanic who works at a local garage at Covehill Bay. Andrew not only repairs cars and engines, but also repairs bikes. Like Jaidal, he is a Christian. He repairs Jaidal’s bike whenever it breaks down. Although he can sometimes be a little clumsy, he tries his very best to be careful. Andrew has a younger brother named Adrian, who lives in a different town.

Little is known about him except he is Jaidal's classmate. Bradley is among the many students whom Graham mistreats. Although Scottish by birth, his last name is not mentioned.

Rhoda is Ronke’s Ghanaian aunt and a Christian. Not much is known about her, except she gave her niece a Jesus fish watch on her 13th birthday. Cool, collected and creative, Rhoda is an excellent wedding coordinator, and owner of a wedding clothes shop called Sacred Covenant, which has 7 staff members including her assistant named Spike Spud; on top of that believes in the Godly principles of marriage.

Chloe's mother.

A polite yet caring British-NativeAmerican teacher at Watergate Junior Junior High. By profession, he teaches English Literature and History; but as oppsosed to Graham, Mr. Edwin is level-headed, calm, and doesn't hesitate to help other students in need. Nevertheless, he has zero tolerance of bullying from anyone, be it a student or a teacher; he fully supports Jaidal and his decisions. Though he was born in the UK, he spent most of the time in New Belmont, and thus, has a Anglo-American accent. His first name is unknown.

The younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander, who is diagnosed with brain cancer. It is revealed that she has two older siblings, but their names were not mentioned.

A Italian-Spanish transfer student attending a neighbouring highschool to Watergate Junior High. Appearance-wise, Donnie almost looks like Jaidal, except his hair is lighter and slightly different, and wears a blue-leathered jacket, and gray-black pants. It is revealed that Donnie is one Natalia’s four children.

A God-fearing cancer awareness activist whose youngest daughter Natalie is diagnosed with brain cancer. Her first name is revealed to be Harriet.

Another pastor in Cornerstone Church, who is from South Africa by birth, but spent the rest of his life in New Belmont.

A 40 year old Middle Eastern resident at Chicory Lane (which is about 7-8 streets away from Jaidal’s residence). By personality, she is calm, caring, alert, but devout woman of God; as well as a motherly-figure to others. Her first name is Dvora.

Mrs. Azizi's husband. His first name is Mattà.

An Australian man who migrated to New Belmont.

May’s twin brother and believer in God. Like Jordan, Cho is good with technological resources, that he even uses them to spread The Word of God. He and his twin sister, May, assist Jaidal, whenever he is involved with any investigation

A middle-aged Indian doctor, who is in charge of a hospital in Covehill Bay, New Belmont. He does offer some support to Jaidal, by giving him the important details. Ravi is a thoughtful, reserved, caring, God-fearing man, who loves to help people. He has been battling with fear since his childhood, and is scared of heights. He is married to Latika, and has three children, whom he really misses so dearly. Ravi is a very good cook, as he makes his meals from scratch.

A local and skilled fisherman and believer in God. Clement owns a fish shop, where he ships some freshly caught fish to Raymond’s café, and Watergate Junior High’s cafeteria.

Not much is known about him except that he is good friends with Jaidal’s father. Jason works in the police force along with Derek and Jacqueline, but he is more of the Doubting Thomas of the group whenever Jaidal is involved.

The main character of the series. Jaidal is a charismatic 13-year-old boy, who has a God-given talent of case solving, and loves to help people. Thanks to his charismatic attitude, he can convince people to admit their wrongs, and accept responsibilities, and (especially in major cases), lead them to the Lord. In addition, Jaidal tends to get to dangerous grounds; even if it means tracking down criminals to the next street. He gets support from Gabriel, Officer Blake, and his friends, but most importantly, relies on God, to help him in each case, and is willing to cast aside every doubt coming in his way, and simply just trust Him. Jaidal works part-time as a paperboy. Jaidal’s parents were reported missing when he was 9-years-old, and his strong and active grandmother Courtney, decided to live in his house, and take care of him.

A very high-ranked officer in the police force, and Officer Blake’s superior, who was once a high-ranked general in the army; that was three decades ago. Chief Hopkins is quite strict, and has little or no tolerance for Jaidal’s interference in the investigations, but, he does sometimes wonder how he even solves them.

Little is known about her, except she is a shy, quiet, but exceedingly smart girl who is in the same class as Jaidal’s. Chloe was unable to talk to anybody, due to being bullied in school, especially by Tough Bird (aka: Jackie), and her friends; there are times Mr. Lemont (Graham) lowers her grades on purpose, just to make her life miserable.

Gina's long-lost mother.

Jaidal’s chibi-sized buddy, and advisor, who follows Jaidal wherever he goes; be it school, or even crime scenes. Gabriel is always there for assistance, that he even repairs technological things that are broken down, and can at some point senses danger, and finds a solution to it. He often (or even always) advises Jaidal, to always look at things in God’s perspective, especially when solving crimes. Aside from that, Gabriel happens to be a foodaholic sometimes.

NOTE: Though a chibi, his voice is pretty adult-like.

Graham is the extremely strict and rather uptight school teacher, and Jaidal’s form tutor. He easily gets angry, and he is slow to calm down, and likes to have things his way, and doesn’t think before he acts. Graham, for some unknown and (possibly) ridiculous reasons, dislikes Jaidal, to the extent that he puts him on detentions, straight away, for no just reasons.

A Canadian teenage transfer student and very talented writer, whose mother is a florist: and like Mary, he aspires to become a writer someday. Davey may be the calm student, but does not like people who love to show off all the time to make themselves powerful (especially Cain). Like Rotimi, he comes from a strict Roman Catholic family, but chose to be a Christian. He even believes in God’s definition of marriage. His father went missing when he was 4 years old, and hopes to find him someday.

Half-Zimbabwian with a Latin-American descent, she is Jordan’s mother, who is also a police officer. Like her husband Héctor, Faustina is not around most of the time, due to the nature of her job.

A transfer student from China. She has a brother named Bao-Zhi, who is a successful businessman.

Jaidal’s grandmother, who despite her old age, she is a strong and very active woman, and most importantly, a devout woman of faith. When on a 2-month visit from England, Courtney learned that the social services were about to take Jaidal to a different family (three days after his parents were reported missing), she then decided to live in his house, and take care of her grandson. She likes to tend her garden that she grows all sorts of vegetables.

Little is known about him; except for he is one of Jaidal’s classmates in Watergate Junior High. Barney is a strong, quiet but very obese teenage boy with a big heart, who bitterly hates to bully others. He is Gina’s childhood friend since preschool, and cares for her a lot, as if she is his younger sister. He has a great ability to play certain sports, like tennis, dodgeball, and baseball, despite his heavy weight. And like Gina, he doesn’t bother himself of being n#1 so much. Barney is mostly being called “BJ” as he is named after his father; however, he is sometimes being name-called “Big Barney” or “Sumo BJ” by Jackie and other mean kids in school because of his enormous size and weight (which he doesn’t like), but does his very best not let those thoughts get to him, as he has a little bit of a short fuse.

Rebecca’s husband and pastor from a different county next to Covehill Bay.

Very little is known about him except that he is the Principal’s (Kellewyn) faithful husband and the General Overseer of Cornerstone Church. There are times Alberto is not around because of mission trips, and overseeing what is happening in the church; but he does make time with God, and (of course) his family.

BJ's little brother. Jaime has a twin sister named Claire. Like Claire, Jaime likes making his own music, and is a huge fan of Cowboy Higgs.

Raymond’s older sister. Little is known about her except she works in the police force along side with Officer Blake. Despite being one of the few females in the force, she is pretty much the Iron Lady of the team. Like her superior Chief Hopkins, she can be very strict and takes her job seriously, but not to the extend of disliking Jaidal and dismissing him.

BJ’s adult cousin. Joseph is a kind, understanding and intellectual man who believes in God, plus he never loses his cool. Having moved from Wales 7 years ago, Joseph now runs a medium-sized DIY workshop downtown in Covehill Bay, containing about two or three staff. It may be sort of small, but its doing really well; he sometimes delivers some tools to Andrew whenever he needs them. His one weakness, however, is him blushing whenever he sees or anyone makes mention of his fiancé Maria. Sometimes he runs out of words to say to her due to his somewhat shy personality, but still, he tries to compose himself. He and Maria later got married, and had a son and daughter together named Ezra and Sara.

Aharon is 32 year old Christian teacher who comes from Saudi Arabia, along with his wife and two sons, and a daughter. He first came in Watergate Junior High for visit, and is later hired by the current principal, as a language and sports teacher. Aharon is a God-fearing man, who hates to compromise. Like Rotimi, he is disliked by some people like Mr Jefferson, but chooses to stand strong, despite the circumstances. Personality-wise, he is a very intelligent but very open-minded man, and loves to help others. Aharon happens to like baseball, as he is very good at batting, that in a few occasions he joins the students on baseball practice. He has a niece and nephew named Issa and Solomon, who later enrolled in Watergate Junior High.

An Asian-American pastor at a local church in Portson.

An elderly judge at Covehill Bay's Superior Court in around two departments; one of which is the Criminal Justice Department. He has zero tolerance for arrogant behavior.

A South African-Australian worship singer, who wrote his own songs including "His Righteousness", "Living for You", and from his latest album called Oh Come Emmanuel, "There in the Manger Lay".

A vulnerable young man, who steals for a notorious criminal.

Shinkō and Yoshiro’s teenage nephew, who enrolled in Watergate Junior High. Apart from reading and playing baseball, Jun likes solving mysteries, that he even plays mystery games online…except for the violent ones though. Besides this, he is a little guy with a big heart who loves the Lord.

Ravi's assistant doctor, who at times comes from New Zealand to assit lend a hand.

A 42-year-old British choir member of Unito. Growing up, George was constantly left home alone due to to his parents' demanding job; he majorly hangs out with his friends than staying at home all day. One day, he and his friends entered a stranger's house to get some candy, unaware that the candy seller is a trafficker; and thus he tries to trap them to the trafficking ring. George was left behind to be captured, while his three friends escape. He was 14 years old at the time. For decades, he has been sold and transferred from one taskmaster to another; from domestic servitude to forced agricultural work in Morocco, having little to no pay. One day, while arriving from an olive farm, George met a missionary on the way, who told him about Christ and gave him a tract; George tells the missionary that he'll think through it. One night, as he read the tact, he gave his life to Christ. While on duty, George often got name-called by some other workers; one of them who later framed him for allegedly stealing some olives. For that, he gets transferred to another area, ending up on the same vehicle as Reuben, Stefan and other victims, with whom they formed the group Unito. He and the rest of the group escape from the traffickers to New Belmont City to start a better life. Although he may not be the leader of Unito, George acts as a fatherly-figure to the members; Reuben very much respects him.

A 31-year-old German choir member of Unito. Stefan was born in Berlin, the capital of Germany, where many trafficking victims are situated. Kicked out of his home for something he didn't commit, Stefan wondered around the streets of Berlin until a group of thugs punched him to unconsciousness and abducted him, and nobody knew or cared about his whereabouts. Stefan first worked in a construction site, where he had to make bricks from scratch; whilst working there, he had heard the Gospel via some street preachers; some of the workers who went to listen gave their lives to Christ. Seeing the change in them, he decides to become a Christian. Angry about his new found faith, Stefan's taskmaster sends him off to a prostitution ring, but he escapes before any harm was done to him. Stefan was later recaptured by some notorious thieves who then put him on a truck for relocation. Whilst on the road, he befriends Reuben and other victims. Stefan speaks German, English and a little French.

Not much is known about him, except that he is the new school bully who attends Watergate Junior High. By personality, Cain is rough, snobbish, selfish, rude and outright arrogant. Like Jackie, he comes from a wealthy family. It is revealed that Cain had been bullying Jackie since kindergarten, which eventually triggered her bullying behaviour towards others. Now attending Watergate Junior High, Cain wants to not only oppress Jackie further, but to even give others a hard time. Although Cain is a tough guy, he has one weakness which nobody knows about.

Mrs. Alexander's husband and father to Natalie and two other children. His first name turns out to be Jemuel.

Little is known about him except he was the former principal of Watergate Junior High, the school where Jaidal goes. He hired Graham Lemont, as a form tutor, in Jaidal’s class. He was the worst principal in the school that he gets Lemont out of trouble numerous times (even when Lemont has done something wrong), until, three years later, Clive was then replaced, with the current principal (who he dislikes), by the school authorities.
