@onlysydnechessonAudiobook Narrator | Romance, Thriller & YA Fantasy
Hello! My name is Sydné Chesson! I’m a voice actor and audiobook narrator with a passion for character-driven storytelling across romance, thriller, and children’s/YA fantasy.
I bring warmth, emotional honesty, and clarity to long-form narration, with a particular strength in voicing female characters, teenagers, and younger voices, while maintaining a grounded and engaging narrative tone.
I approach every project with care, consistency, and a collaborative mindset, and I’m committed to ongoing training and vocal health to deliver reliable performances and clean, professional audio.
Home Studio: Rode NT1 microphone, Behringer audio interface, and headphones, with a treated recording space.
I’m a December 2023 graduate of American University with a degree in Film and Media Arts, and minors in Marketing and Theatre. My background combines storytelling, performance, and audience engagement, which informs my work across creative and voice-driven projects.
For audiobook work, I typically work on a per-finished-hour basis and am open to discussing rates depending on project scope and distribution. For shorter audio projects, rates vary by length and usage.
I’m primarily looking for audiobook narration, audio drama, and narrative voiceover projects, especially in romance, thriller, and children’s/YA fantasy. I enjoy character-driven stories and long-form work that allows for immersive storytelling and clear emotional arcs.
I work on audiobook-style narration, fiction podcasts, audio dramas, and narrative voiceover, with a particular focus on female-led stories, internal monologue, and character-focused storytelling. I’m comfortable voicing female, teen, and youthful characters, as well as grounded adult narration.
My long-term goal is to build a consistent audiobook narration career, collaborate with authors and creators on compelling stories, and continue growing my range and stamina in long-form narration while maintaining professional recording standards.
I joined Casting Call Club to connect with indie creators and storytellers, gain experience in audio-focused projects, and build collaborative relationships while continuing to develop my skills in narration and character work.
