The recording booth loomed around him. The padded walls, pulsing slowly as if breathing in every decibel but his own uneven breath. He adjusted the headphones, the silence coiling around him like unseen fingers. The script trembled in his grip — the lines writhing to come alive. As he shattered the silence, his voice warped into something unnatural, something not entirely his own.
