For the first episode of my original, long-term worldbuilding-based audio drama, I had the absolute honor of working with EJ as a cover artist!

Right when she applied to the role, the portfolio looked clean and unique, with an interesting variety that felt like it would fit just perfectly. But what I didn't know at that time, was the ultimate joy of actually working with her.

EJ works remarkably fast and her work is of excellent quality at all time (even the drafts and concept sketches!!!).

Communication with her is extremely smooth and easy going as she is very responsive, friendly and cool. (For me better responsiveness means less days without hearing anything from the other person. Despite timezone gap, we got to exchange at least once a day!)

Now what *really* sets EJ apart from artists I've worked with in the past, is how she engages with the task at hand *and* the director. While some other artists just go ahead wait for direction, execute it, and repeat until the director has no complaints anymore, EJ goes right ahead and asks much more indepth, to truly understand the not only the task at hand but the underlying vision.

As a director, you will immediately feel and understand that with EJ, your vision is being taken seriously. But it doesn't stop there. Not only does EJ excel as an artist, she also goes one step beyond and advises directors on artistic and general aesthetic aspects of their vision in away that feels highly professional in essence, but still extremely relaxed and not stiff at all in execution. Where ideas or concepts aren't fully understood by the director, EJ will go forth and explain or even present examples, and generally take the extra bit of effort and time to present plenty of options to sharpen the vision with the director.

If you are looking for an artist, that takes your vision seriously, is very smooth to communicate with in extremely productive and efficient feedback loops, delivers excellent quality at all time and even professionally sharpens your vision with you, on an artistic level, should it be blurry, EJ is my wholehearted artist recommendation to you!
