Ditt Dutton

Hi, I’m Ditt - a disabled British voice actor, character performer and baritone with more accents than sense.
I’m like a vocal chameleon, only marginally less reptilian.
My main playground is character work for games and animation. I love finding the person underneath the voice: believable characters, specific relationships and accents that feel lived-in rather than stuck on. I’m also comfortable with character singing and the occasional deeply questionable noise.
I’ve been performing characters in one form or another for over 20 years, from theatre and stand-up to spending far too much time around a tabletop with some dice.
I trained in theatre from an early age and have performed in productions including The Winter’s Tale, The Tempest, Henry V (Henry V), Grease, Journey’s End and Beauty and the Beast (Beast). That background gave me a strong foundation in acting, character work, singing, comedy and storytelling.
I record from a dedicated treated home studio and can provide clean, broadcast-quality audio remotely.

Extremely talented. He's been so kind and professional about everything; good communication, followed the script to a tee, and nailed every line. I truly couldn't have hoped for a better experience following his audition.

David understood the personality of the character immediately, and that makes my job as a director so much easier which with so many roles going on I'm infinitely grateful for. The personality came through on every word and even later doing retakes just as I wanted to shift the tone of a particular line, David provided me with a bunch of different takes to make sure I got exactly the right one. Not even to comment on the crystal quality of his performances and wonderfully efficient delivery! I would very gladly work with David again.
