The FUNCTION is a neo-noir machinima short film created entirely within Grand Theft Auto V. 

A professional torturer arrives at an industrial warehouse to extract information from the daughter of a missing crime figure. 

But as he begins, he reveals his job is less about finding the truth, and more about performing, so the system around him can function. 

Inspired by the crime cinema of Michael Mann, Thief, Heat, Collateral, and the psychological thrillers of David Fincher, The Killer and Seven.
