In this video, I break down the controversy surrounding BABYMONSTER’s performance video for their hit song "Billionaire." While the track itself is fantastic, the way the performance was executed has me really upset. The video shows a stark contrast between how the adult members are styled—rocking full-length outfits—and how the minor members, Chiquita (15) and Ahyeon (17), are dressed in mini skirts and shorts. It’s not just the outfits either; the camera work is off, with several shots zooming in on the minors in a way that feels exploitative. The parts that have been replayed the most are the ones where the camera focuses on these young members shaking their butts, and that’s something I just can’t stand.

I’m here to talk about why this is not acceptable and to question the practices at YG Entertainment. These decisions don’t just affect the group's image—they send a message about how young talent is being treated in the industry. I believe every artist, especially minors, should be respected and protected, not objectified for views or clicks.
