Minneapolis, 1942. When Diana Faber hires private investigator Anthony Crawford to find her missing brother, it seems like a straightforward disappearance. Peter Faber, owner of one of the city's largest department stores, is well known for his eccentric alter ego, "Crazy Pete." Then, one day, he simply vanishes.
