K-Pop Demon Hunters Is Actually Insane (In the Best Way)
I finally watched K-Pop Demon Hunters on Netflix and OMG… I was not ready for how good this movie actually was. Like HELLO?? The animation ate. The music slapped harder than it had any right to. And the characters?? Let’s talk. Mira carried the emotional weight on her back, Rumi had the most intense identity crisis ever, and Jinu?? That man had me in tears one second and confused the next—talking about “keeping his belly full” while his family STARVED. Be serious. This is a full breakdown, review, and emotional spiral over a movie I expected to be mid at best, and instead it became my entire personality.
We dive into all the chaotic glory of K-Pop Demon Hunters—the insane plot twists, the heartbreaking scenes, the bangers like Soda Pop, How It’s Done, and Your Idol, the cut aquarium scene (YES I’M MAD), and why Mira is the best character PERIOD. Also, where is Zoey’s moment to shine?? We talk about all of it.
We also get a little unhinged talking about parasocial relationships, K-pop industry references, and why the Saja Boys are literally Jinu and friends. This is not a normal review. This is a rant, a scream, a cry for a sequel, and a desperate plea for Rumi to put her hair down again.
