After the events of Season 6 of Red vs. Blue, the UNSC dissolved Project Freelancer, and all remaining simulation outposts were turned over to the UNSC for continued training purposes, especially for members of the Red Army, as all files of the Blue Army were deleted during Season 6’s finale. With the Chairman wanting to centralize efforts, three Red Army divisions were thrown together at “Rats Nest,” consisting of soldiers Axe, Quinn, Hack, and Pace.
Meanwhile, the Blue Army forces from Danger Canyon, Axe and Pace’s former base, decided to tail the Red Team after Blue Command stopped giving them orders and the Reds seemed to be on the move. These three Blue Team members are Lou, Tenn, and O'Connor.
