Today’s video is a full-on rant because I’m TIRED. We need to talk about the very real difference between a group and a band, because apparently people still don’t get it. A band plays their own instruments—guitar, drums, bass, you name it. A group? They sing, dance, and perform over a track. BOTH are valid, BOTH are talented, but they are NOT the same thing! I’m sick of seeing comments calling K-pop groups like STAYC, ATEEZ, or Red Velvet a “band” when they’ve never held a guitar in their life. Same energy when someone calls Pierce the Veil or The Rose a “group” like they're out here doing synchronized dance breaks 😭
