The Queen of Bees

My name is Amina Johnson, I love everything about the world of cartoons and anime. From how it looks, how it's made, to the voice acting.

It's taken me years to get the confidence to even try things like this, I've always wanted to, I just never had the support and encouragement. My blood family never took interest in my dreams, and I mean after being told you'll make nothing of it so many times it starts to ware you down..

But my adoptive family, they actually love and care about me. They even paid for my Vocal lessons, they support my dreams and actually want me to pursue them. My awesome boyfriend even supports me, it makes me cry when I think about all these people. So I am, I know it's a slow and steady race but I'm not giving up anytime soon.

I'm using Audacity as my editing and recording program, I have a Scarlett Solo 2i2 set up.

I'm a great singer and stage presence, I have a lot of fun with what I sing, and when I get a role I have fun with that too! I'm a Mezzo Soprano but I can go higher. That's just my comfort zone. I keep my normal voice a slow monotone, kinda like a lazy character lol.

My inspiration for voicing comes from years of watching cartoons like Codename Kids Next Door, Avatar the Last Airbender, Invader Zim. Pretty much all and any of the old Nicktoons and Cartoon Network Shows, with the newer ones like Steven Universe making me love my voice even more! Tara Strong, Grey DeLisle, Cree Summer, Keith David, Cree Summer, are all my insirations. With many others as well from the 90s-2000s and to now!
