Hello! My name is Michaela and I am a voice actor based out of Colorado with a high emotional range and a passion for performing! Here is a little more about me:

I am experienced with both grounded, realistic delivery and colorful, cartoonish performance.
I am experienced with live direction.
I am able to perform a wide range of emotional targets: silly, cute, commanding, unhinged, smug, monotone, bubbly, motherly, and more!
My natural voice is a femme, medium-high register, adult/young adult (I am in my 30s).
I love video games, animations, audio dramas, audiobooks, anime, manga, and all types of creative content!! I want to be a part of the creations I adore <3

VA101 is designed to teach students about their vocal instrument and how to play it. Learn about your Voice box, your articulators, posture, warmup and breathing techniques, consonants, plosives, sibilance, natural articulation, handling a lisp, mic techniques, and so much more!

Learn how to bring fights to life, spur the Player on, and access new and under-utilized corners of your voice.

Learning about the technicalities of voice over recording and how to produce the best sound possible for my work.

Learn the teachings of the great masters and how to use them in your voice acting so you can approach any project with confidence. You will apply these skills to a variety of characters in various voice over genres like animation, video games, commercials, and audiobooks. No pre-requisite. Intermediate Level.
- Knowledge on how to allow your unique, authentic signature voice to develop.
- The ability to apply the principals of vocal health and how to maintain optimum strength for lengthy recording sessions.
- Exercise routines to strengthen and stretch the muscularity of the vocal instrument.
- The confidence to take written scripts and discover the response inherent to the communication characters.
- The ability to perform and sustain the 10 basic vocal placements used in character work.
- A performable, re-creatable catalogue of characters.
Open to negotiation. Rates depend on scope of work. Currently building out my portfolio, and accepting both paid and pro bono work.
I am currently open to any type of project if it sounds interesting and seems like a good fit! Would love to be a part of something that is challenging, engaging, and pushes me to explore and refine various vocal and acting techniques.
