Oh, no, it’s not the ship that’s in the way. The ship is making some kind of shield or net thing in a large area around the orbiting station’s exit. It’s messing with the navigation controls and would probably kill all the power on the ship. It’s even got a presence in the woobly space so we couldn’t jump out even if we wanted to, which we really wouldn’t this close to the station because that would cause some major bad interference anyway.
Wow, what did you guys do? Did you find some kind of magical "that was so not expectable at all" machine that lets you travel in sparkles? <beat> Can I have one?
Looks like they think we're the people we aren't, instead of the ones we actually are.
