Kidnapped as an infant by the shadowy organization known as V, Eto had wandered the streets most of her life as a hermit, aspiring to become a talented writer. After becoming a published author, she became disgusted with the comfortable life that her father was living while ghouls were being persecuted, she vowed to turn the tide from the shadows. Often philosophical with her speeches, she often drums up theatrics bringing out the style of the author that she had become. Especially interested in Kaneki’s potential, she prowls in the shadows to test his mettle to be the next one eyed king.
{Cold; Blunt} - “I saw you there, lying on your back, dying like the child you were. Standing right in front of me is your consolation prize, for at least trying not to die like an animal.”
{Amused; Cold} - “I tried, I really did. Both as a human and as a ghoul, I failed miserably. It’s funny ya know, that the pages upon pages of metaphors I wrote, just flew over everyone’s head.”
{Childlike} - “Humans and Ghouls are the same exact animal, the only difference being that the latter was born to die like an animal in the eyes of humanity. My aim is to change all of that.”
