Dragon Ball Abridged: Goku Time! (Fan Made Parody, Scripted Comedy)
Blue Phoenix for Kid Goku
The star of the show, through and through. Goku comes in two different flavors this time around. Kid Goku, and Big Man Monkey Goku. Kid Goku is without a doubt the most difficult role offered in DBGTA. With his iconic voice and wide variety of facial expressions, this role will come with a lot of dedication, but also a lot of fun!
Goku will be in essentially every scene up until the end of the show when he's in his adult form mostly. He'll be the one liner machine and a fan-favorite for sure.
Goku can be voiced by either male or female actors, but must imitate his original voice as close as possible. This role will also require a lot of yelling since he is a loud character and also powers up an awful lot.

I had no idea that the dragon was there when I walked in! Then Pilaf made the wish and poof! Here I am.

Pan, not now. Let Grandpa handle this. He's powerful-- even more powerful than Majin Buu. It's exciting to think about it.

Nay thee nayve
Just a side note- I was playing with my settings, my recording volume and wave form patterns are much louder/larger with similar quality typically (you can see them on my other auditions). Thanks again!
Nice audition! I like how it sounds when you get serious, but I think the parts where he's not serious could use more childlike playfulness and excitement. Unfortunately (And this isn't a shot at you) I think all the yelling this role requires would be too hard on your voice. Did it strain you to do that yell?
Hello, Thank you for being considerate of my voice! I was on the tail end of a cold when I recorded my audition, so the rasp was largely due to that. The screams arent too harsh, I try to warm up and give myself rests between sessions. Thank you for the note on the first line, I can definitely lighten up the line and be brighter. Please let me know if you have any other questions or considerations! This project looks like lots of fun. If you want see some of fandub work check out my YouTube!!
